Notte Stellata | Mar 7-9, 2025

And here's from Rika Hongo, in her very personal post confessing about her feelings as someone who was born in Sendai but moved to live in Nagoya before the Great Earthquake so not being there 14 years ago, and forever grateful to Notte Stellata show to give her an opportunity to pay back to her home town. This year she picked up a song from a Japanese movie on the earthquake to skate to. She says she had thought about it since the very first show but only now dared to do it.

As I dared to predict, Yuzu met with people from Wajima Morning Market, from Noto Peninsula, after the show, among them with the three wonderful ladies from the NNN TV report. They all had a great time together!

I believed that there was only one of these three ladies, but they were all there! I'm so happy that they could meet again, and I hope that they didn't catch a cold, but being from the West Coast, albeit more to the South, they must be used to inclement weather.
Here's the News Every broadcast when we can see their meeting, in their hometown Wajima, by the end of last June, nearly six months after it was hit by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and particularly the Wajima Morning Market street was hit by a fire the next day:

Here, a fan shows the lacquerware they acquired at the Wajima Street Market (I don't know if they bought it in Wajima, or to a Wajima maker who came near the Notte Stellata venue for the show), and a fanartist answered with a picture of Yuzuru Hanyu in Seimei costume, using this lacquerware and praying on the occasion of March 11th:

And after the Bolero Six here we have the Seimei Trio :)
I'm so happy to see them all together! For some reason, I always felt that meeting Mansai Nomura would mean a lot to Shea Lynn! Great to see it happened!

The news story on the Yuzuru-Mansai collaboration will be posted on NNN TV YouTube official channel in English on March 15!
So it's just two more days to go!
I hope they will gradually post also the programs !

Akiko Suzuki has just posted a photo of her and Yuzu striking the "Inori's pose" together for the photographers at the Notte Stellata backstage :love2:
Inori is the main character of the new Disney Plus skating hit - the "Medalist" anime for which Akiko choreographed programs and skated some of them for the movement capture animation technology, and Yuzu is suspected to have been an inspiration for some characters and for sure skated in the music video for the series opening song by Japanese superstar Kenshi Yonezu which premiered last week, The vid has been the No. 1 hit on the Japanese YouTube for a week now , or so, and was at the Japanese Billboard Bestseller List at No 6 the last time I checked . :love2:

Here's another Seimei trio (with Takahito Mura and Keiji Tanaka), with paper dolls like in the film and in the program at this year's Notte Stellata:

I first learned about Violette at the first NS, she presumably met Yuzuru when he was in Canada, and her genuine affection and respect has always been clear.
I read that she was proposed by Shae-Lynn Bourne for the first Notte Stellata; I don't know if she and Yuzuru Hanyu had known before, but she's now clearly "a staple" of Notte Stellata, and used to send many photos and snippets, I hope that nobody refrained her this year!
