Old School Compulsory Competition

As of right now, which skaters would be your favorites to win a true "figure" skating competition? Would the answer change if you gave them an additional six months from now to explicitly train for such a competition?

Hey I asked this last year. But it's in the archives now. I guess it's worth asking again.

If I had to guess it would be Patrick Chan and Anna Pogorilaya from what I have seen with their footwork and from what I understand is involved in figures (which is basic). It would be interesting to know what others think.

I would guess that Satoko Miyahara would do a thousand figure eights a day if she decided that it was important to do that.
