Can hear a couple of (completely speculative) conversations in my mind...

Mike Slipchuck (SC high performance director) to Patrick "What are the things that you have wanted to do in skating and haven't yet achieved? (Beyond an OGM)

Marina Zoueva to Patrick, "Tell me about the things you have worked on but haven't brought into competition. Why don't skate around and get comfortable and then you can let me know what you'd like us to take a look at with you."

:laugh::laugh: Well, Patrick did say that he had a few other tricks up his sleeve, so I look forward to seeing if he brings them out in 2017. I really love the new way he gets up from his his sit spin in his SP. It looks really neat as his arms open up.

The days are getting closer to the nationals. So excited! I wish all the best of the best to the skaters at the Nationals Championship :cheer:.

In skating, Patrick does not do anything half-assed. He strives for and achieves excellence in every element and aspect. Even as the 3A was called his nemesis, it was gorgeous when he landed it. His 4S is entered with footwork even as a new quad in his program. No long setup into one quad after another long setup into another quad. Evidently he had been able to do the 4S with footwork entry regularly in practice but had to land it in competition. Well, he did it. Beautifully. :clap:

Thank you vivley for the gif of Patrick's perfect 3A. It is indeed perfect, big, powerful, landed and flowing out, with footwork to follow immediately. :love:
 
oups.. you are right...

well interesting is relative ;)

I mean, what I liked the most I think was that Kurt said that Patrick always goes full-on for Nationals whether or not he is the ultimate favourite ;)

well.. as you know, that's why i love patrick.

even when he reads a bednight story with a phushie called silly billy, he is 100% committed... i love human beings who are passionate about everything they do.
