Over the last few days, I've often tried to access GS on either Chrome or Firefox and got a message saying that "the administrators of this site have blocked your access". So I try the other browser and get signed on. Or I come back a few minutes later to the same location and am welcomed back. It can happen on either browser and seems to be completely random. I'm starting to feel guilty without having done anything banishment-worthy that I know about 🙇‍♀️. Any reason anyone can think of?

We have had an "attack" of bots submitting numerous requests on the server, so "blocks" were put in place. We are trying to fix the issue.

Are you using a VPN?

I don't know -- there's a thingy on the bar across the top of my screen that says VPN but I don't know what that means -- however, the problem seems to have stopped happening now. I lost internet connection completely last evening, but that turned out to be my cat having pulled loose a power bar while attempting to hide when his vet made a housecall to give him an injection 🙀. Injection and restoration of service both successful. Eventually.

VPN means you are using a "third party" IP other than your personal one.

🐾😍
Ummm. I'd have to ask the person who installs any new things like computers for me. If it happens again, I'll ask him if I'm using whatever that is. But thanks for telling me what to ask him, anyway :scratch2:

My cat appreciates your sympathy. He can't believe such a violation of his safe home. "Is there no place where I'm safe from that fiend?!"

I have a different issue that I'll post here. There are lots of tiimes I want to use an emoji to react to the previous post. Sometimes I get limited to just the "smile" or "like" emoji when I really want to use one of the other emojis ("think," "grimace," "cry," etc.). I don't know why that is happening.

Is this happening on a mobile phone? Sometimes the "popup" for the emojis get "pushed" out of the window.

I encounter a similar problem on a computer. Usually whet it happens it would just show a "like" emoji, nothing else.

I get this from time to time... not sure it is related. I usually refresh a couple times and I can access GS

Insufficient Storage
The method could not be performed on the resource because the server is unable to store the representation needed to successfully complete the request. There is insufficient free space left in your storage allocation.

Additionally, a 507 Insufficient Storage error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Again, I quit Safari, reopened the browser and got in... Maybe it's another problem altogether. Maybe it's on my side ? I don't know

I got that message, too, as well as the one that said the administration had blocked me. But then I'd get in fine if I waited, or switched browser. I don't use Safari, but I use Firefox, Chrome, and occasionally Opera, and it happened on all of them at random.

I had the insufficient storage error on repeat one day. For me it happened when I was already signed on and continued for every action I tried to take. I closed GS for a couple of hours and it cleared up when I came back. I am using chrome on a chromebook.

The only thing we seem to have in common is that all 3 of us are in Canada. This may just be coincidence. Anyone in another country having an "insufficient storage" problem?
