Random Confessions

Eating the low-fat mozzarella cheese stick in my lunch is, like, the highlight of my work day.

Also, I just noticed that the Le Cafe description still mentions the politics forum, in case y'all want to remove that.

random daily confession is that I'm watching (again) royal weddings/parts of them available on YT (royal first waltzes/bride walking down the aisle etc)...And still get all smiley and gooey over Prince Frederik of Denmark who was the one to get teared over the bride walking down the aisle to him (and even before that)...It's cheesy and I'm beyond pathetic, I know :)

Happy Women Day!

I left a flower, my brother-in-law gave me in tea house.... :slink:

I think my cats are probably smarter than me :roll9: I don't think they would keep their silly human if they were allergic to it *goes to get eyedrops* :reye: (itchyyyyy)

Sometimes my husband and I have to keep from laughing when our daughter has a meltdown. We give her plenty of hugs, but sometimes it's so absurd it's hilarious.

You wont have that problem of keeping from laughing when she has a meltdown at 13.... ;)

regarding 13 yo (and teenagers in general) - to be honest, I have this urge to laugh or do an eyeroll seeing all these teenage girls living in their phones while I'm riding to work, looking so similar to one another, trying to fit into some image heavily promoted...It's kind of sad to see and funny at the same time as I'm a totally opposite kind of person (and not yet a teenager, maybe that's the clue )

Oooh, that's not cheesy. That wedding got a lot of airplay here, of course, because the new Princess was Australian :) Even now that she's completely renounced her citizenship and everything in order to marry Frederick, we still claim her. Of course, the love story of how they met, in a bar at the Sydney Olympics, is often told ad nauseum here.

My random confession of the day is that I don't like needles. I had to get a jab at the doctor's today. I'm still sulking. I will fall a zillion times a session onto hard ice off jumps and just bounce up and continue but jab me with a needle and I will sulk and whine for the rest of the day.

Princess Mary is probably my fave Princess (along with Princess Victoria of Sweden) - she seems so royal and regal by appearance and she seems like very sensitive and affectionate person too. I am impressed how composed she looks at their wedding while Prince Frederik could not hold his tears, he's so adorably sensitive and looked (still does) so in love..., and they look so natural together, so in harmony for me

I haven't seen that before but I have just watched it. What a lovely moment....the Prince is so nice
Prince Frederik and Princess Mary seem to be the perfect royal couple to me, they are always natural and seem to be very hardworking, kind people too. And their children are all beautiful.

hi :ghug:, Happy Friday!!!

I know, right? The way he got so emotional waiting for Princess Mary to arrive and Prince Joachim (his best man) had to 'help him' out while he got teary :), I love and swoon over practically everything about this wedding and their story in general. And she looks exactly like almost 13 years ago during that wedding, it's crazy, what a class and timeless beauty! And the Prince has this boyish expression about him, for me, it's impossible not to smile looking at him. And their children:love:

ETA - You new avatar :agree:, someone has to do a mash-up avatar with Yuzuru's expression vs Shoma expression similar to that after 4CC FS

hi! Thank you, yay it's Friday!

Prince Frederik looked really excited and emotional while he was waiting for his bride, it's just adorable.:) He was boyish at that time but now...uh he is just the most handsome Prince :o:
And Princess Mary is beautiful and she really looks the same as she did 13 years ago. I especially like her impeccable style - something which I rarely say about a famous person -, which is a combination of royal, elegant, natural, conservative, modern and stylish at the same time :)

I had NO familiarity with the Royal Family of Denmark so I read up on it and then it got me to reading about the other various Royal families in Europe. Honestly, in the US we only hear about the British royalty.

Also sort of fascinated how the Swedish and Denmark Royal families are related.

I am also fascinated that the heir apparent in The Netherlands is a cute 13-year-old girl! Princess Catherine-Amalia (what a beautiful name!) is already bilingual and speaks some Spanish. Got to start early, I guess!

everyone in the netherlands got to be at least bilingual... nobody really speaks dutch you know ;)

It's one of those movies that whenever and wherever you come across it, and regardless whether it's early on or halfway through, you just stop in front of the screen and drop everything else and watch it till the end. My Best Friend's Wedding is another one.

re Clueless - I quite had the crush on young Paul Rudd heeeeeee
