I am a little bit allergic to sunlight
Oh no. This is so rare. Luckily you don't have a severe case. But you live in a pretty sunny country. London and Vancouver are preferred cities for people with sunlight allergy.

Yeah one tends to rust rather than tan in Vancouver.
I know Vancouver is supposed to have pretty nice weather though not as sunny and dry as Victoria but I read of a family with sun allergy settling down there safely. Maybe they stay indoors during summer daytime.
Montreal, OTOH, does not have Spring. It goes from winter to summer in about a week.
On the whole, hours of sunlight per year is quite limited in northern latitude like Canada. We have the highest rate of MS due to vitamin D deficiency what with all that head to toe cover up much of the year. And no Survivor location because of the extremely short bikini season.
the summer is dry and sunny... 25 degrees all way through... no summer storms... it's quite nice.. victoria is just a bit dryer but not that much... yeah... well... my favourite season is spring... so yeah... it's not happening here in montreal and i checked the weather forecast... not happening again this year.. we will suddenly be in the summer in a few weeks but do not change your winter tires until thenOh no. random confessions of the day are:
- I'm taking that Friday off just to watch SD in full, I know I'm bad...
- I'm already tired of most of pre-Worlds discussions, even if an actual even starts tomorrow...the amount of personally inflicted critic, even plain hate (with no arguments justified, just childish 'he's/she's/they're worse because he beat my favourite') is stunning; it seems like you can bash skaters for evrything these days, especially about things like confidence, sharp execution, pushing tech boundaries, having winning strike. It's making me sad and sad more...
I confess I don't read those posts. I value my bliss. The real competition, any drama, and real results will be played out on real ice soon. All those pre event debates and bashing don't matter a bit. Choose who you like and support them, and let others do the same. Mind toxins only hurt the originator and those who let them into their minds.

I confess that when the silly drama and debates go on for days after an event ends, I'm tempted to just pop in a post a link to the "beating a dead horse" gif, and run.
I'll check in occasionally to see if anyone has a factual question that I can answer, but otherwise I just don't even bother. This Worlds, I'll be retreating to my "2018 Worlds/Olympic Spots" thread.
very important thread... go canada![]()
:Hmm...gotta admit....disappearing threads makes me wonder what I missed![]()
I must confess that nationalism is over my head. I've never once rooted for any athlete in any sport based on their nationality. I disappoint so many freinds come every Olympic Games.:
and it's rare that we have contenders in all 4 disciplines... very rare...
