I really hate fireworks. As in I really, really hate them. Especially my neighbors who like to set them off all night long when some of us have to work in the morning...

I've been sooooo wanting to post a comment like this, but I didn't want to seem like a grouch. I can't stand fireworks and I always dread Independence Day because of them. They are loud and I'm always worried some dumb kid is going to start a fire or blow something up.

And, yes, I've been hearing fireworks late into the night for the past several days now... :angry2:

I'm right there with you. People are so annoying with them and finally they have stopped here, my poor dog was so terrified the entire 4 hours people were setting them off, makes me sad/angry.

I'm honestly used to my friends shooting them off at me at this point. I dodged quite a few tonight in fact. :ohwell:

I don't love or hate them but certainly understand the annoying factor so I only shoot them off when I'm visiting home in the cornfields and cow pastures.

Olympic hopeful Kelly Sildaru did a cool project with flipping thru fireworks a few weeks back. It's pretty cool.
 
Although I had wanted to see it for years, I did not get round to watching "Back To The Future" until one of the TV channels showed it last Christmas. :o:

A few days afterwards, the same channel showed part 3. The problem was that part 2 hadn't been shown in between (still don't understand why), and I like to watch things in order in case anything significant has happened. Against my better judgement, I decided to try watching it anyway, and was relieved when I saw that part 3 started where part 1 left off. But, this relief didn't last. Within 10 minutes I was so lost that I gave up.

So, I've still to see the sequels. But, I can't wait to see them (in order!)

What put this into my head to use as a random confession is that a couple of days ago, I saw this photo of two of my adopted daughters:

So, which one is Marty and which one is Doc?

Because of their hair and the difference in height, I am inclined to say Anna as Marty, and Kristina as Doc. But, Anna is older than Kristina, so perhaps it should be the other way around.

i am eating rainier cherries until they make me poop ;) i cannot resist the temptation even with the known discomfort that will come later. :)

My love for cherries in unconditional... same with chiddy... oh.. .cherry-chiddy... super tongue twister... you try it!
 
I'm daydreaming about things that make me happy. (Sadly they are not in the same time zone with me).
 
my first self-made cheesecake with peaches on top is sitting in the oven...hope it will be good, because I'd like to bring it tomorrow to work:)

Have eaten Michigan dark, sweet cherries until I'm sick! Know the feeling well. But the season is so short you have to get sick while you can! :laugh2: :rofl:
