Random Confessions

Happy belated birthday, NoNameFace! You are younger than me!

I must drink ALL OF THE WATER. I'm giving blood on the weekend.

Thank You, karne!:) And here goes my theory that You are actually younger than me:laugh:

I have a terrible addiction to Froot Loops. I can't even have them in the house. I will eat the whole box for breakfast, lunch and dinner and then my mouth gets abraded and it actually hurts to eat anything. I basically have to march right through the cereal isle at top speed to avoid them.

I also really, really love pavlova. The last one I made had whipped cream, raspberries and sweet black cherries, white and dark chocolate shavings and a milk chocolate ganache with a small amount of cream patisserie at the bottom of the pavlova bowl. Had to do my cream pat twice because the first one broke.

I just spent $97 on nine pints of Jeni's Ice Cream. She's based in Ohio and I'm in Washignton state, so mail order it is!

I see they sell Jeni's in Chicago. Was looking at their web site. The flavors sound yummy. Is it really good??!! (of course, it's hard to find BAD ice cream! :laugh2:)

Totally worth it!
What flavours?

I actually miscounted. I bought 8....
There was a mystery pack where you chose half and got random flavors for the other half for $54. Then we ordered two more at $12 each.
It was $97 total with shipping.

Here are flavors we're getting for sure.
Super Moon: https://shop.jenis.com/ice-creams/supermoon-pint/
Ricotta Toast with Red Berry Geranium Jam: https://shop.jenis.com/ice-creams/ricotta-toast-red-berry-geranium-jam-pint/

You should go! I've been to the one in Atlanta and it's so good.

Those look so yummy. There needs to be a drool emoji.

Hahah I see we have some similar faves! In cream-filled bear biscuits and sake flavoured kit-kats :3
(Have yet to try any British treats but will get myself educated in that field XD)

I also love those sweet potato kit-kat that you can bake in the oven to get a brown burnished top and melty sweet-potato flavoured white chocolate

Maynard's WineGums
Jelly Babies
Double Decker (This is a chocolate bar with nougat and cereal crisps)
Galaxy Minstrels (chocolate buttons with flaky chocolate shell) I also love Smarties which are kind of similar.
Curly Wurly (formerly the Wig Wag bar) Chocolate and caramel (a favorite of mine)

I also love Pontefract Cakes (but if you don't love black licorice don't try those).

Doris majored in Latin!

I took two years of Latin like 20 years ago, but I don't remember much. (Puella bonita est is about it at this point.)

Doris is a wise woman.:)

Spirals for Miles, please PM me if you have any specific questions. Do I know Latin? No. But Spousal Unit is University Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Classics (meaning if you retire, we give you fancy title) at Local Large Private University. He taught Latin at LLPU. And as an undergrad double majored in Latin and Ancient Greek at fancy schmancy Connecticut school a million years ago.

So I can get answers:biggrin:

Ah, Latin language - I had it for 3 yrs in high school and then legal Latin in college for 2 more years. It was the most hated subject in my high school class and one of my faves and one I really excelled in, being twice in a row a finalist of National Latin Olympics contest we have. That was a great time and it helped me a lot in learning French and Italian:). Also, we had the most adorable, goofy Latin teacher - we named her puella (a girl) and I will be forever grateful for her attention given to me and motivating me to make those translations from Cicero, Seneca, Julius Ceasar:)

Lollipops are my weakness. And blu/blue raspberry is my favorite flavor of lollipops. I'm eating one right now. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I saw some guy here with a nick like mine or sounding similar and I was very surprised. I thought I was one and only:drama::rolleye:

Confession: Not a fan of Kostner, S/M, V/M, or P/C (and a couple of Russian ladies, everyone knows how I feel about them)
Don't murder me...

Well, as long as you're fan of Yuzuru... Just kidding  It's good I'm not the only one who deosn't get hype over S/M or Kostner. V/M I understand, but I'm not into them either. P/C I like, but not ubering. I reserve that for WeaPo. And I always wonder what I/K could be if they had not split.

Mine confesision: I ditched Men in the morning today in favour of watching Qualification for Ski Flying in Planica. Sadly, the wind screwed with Ski Jumpers even more than the jury.
