Great to see both Rika and Shingo on the ice again. So much talent! I hope this arrangement will work well for them. Can't wait to see Rika, it's been a long time.
I saw many dissapointed people on twitter and while I get that it may be diffcult to come to terms with the fact that your favorite is closing a certain chapter of his career (I also hoped for her comeback to single field) but I can't even imagine how much more mentally difficult was to take that step for her. I'm 100% sure she did everything she could to make that happen and ultimately made the best decision for herself. I support her and believe they can be a great team!

Edit: I just read that she's not retiring from singles and plans to keep that option open. So anything can happen Rika 2030 team gold, individual gold and ice dance gold? why not

Indeed ! Many people's reaction is "she will prevent her health with ice dance" but indeed I read that she plans to continue single skating as well so let's see how it will go
