As Josh was talking, Adam came piling in over the top and interrupted with his own "blah blah I feel so old" stuff and completely cut him off.

Forgive him. Grandpa Adam has obviously been hanging around grandma Ashley a bit too long. Josh will get his turn one day... but probably will shyly smile through everything red cheeked.

Response in the arena varied by where you were sitting. All 3 guys gave very good performances.

As a whole, you can check arena response by percent of audience standing, volume and length of the cheering, and amount of toys on the ice after the skate.

Hmmm ... I got quite a favorable overall impression of Adam from the Greensboro presser (and in the past, I have not paid as much attention to him as to other U.S. men).

I remember Adam saying stuff about feeling like an old man, but IMO, it seemed like a natural and appropriate segue from Josh's admiring words to the effect of having looked up to Adam for a long time. YMMV.

(I haven't gone back to re-watch the presser video either. Just recalling what stuck with me from watching it at the time.)

I remember the presser and it did seem that Adam did a lot of talking but, a lot of the questions were directed at Adam. It seemed as if he had more questions than Josh or Jason.

No, but that was my point. There are millions willing to marry him, but that can only go to 1(or maybe several if divorce happens) people in the world. Whereas with Worlds, there are only a few dozen men, 5 of which will make it into the top 5. Thus it's a dramatic comparison
