Virtue and Moir are very very lucky to be in 2nd. There were 3 clear mistakes - 2 in the first pattern and one in the second at the end by the kiss and cry. I was so surprised that I wasn't sure if they'd really made a mistake until I closely watched the next team.

If that is the case, then what are the judges smoking? They gave V/M a score more than five points higher than the Golden Waltz they did at Skate Canada!

I realize that Nationals scoring is wildly inflated, but if V/M made that many mistakes, the huge score is clearly undeserved.

I think that they were lucky that the mistakes occurred when one partner blocked the other one from the judges' views. And from my perspective, I was able to see it from the sideview.
