I'm not sure what time it starts exactly, but I think I'll be able to watch it live this time!

Interesting to see how the draw this year seems to take the last two groups and randomize them, rather than keeping the top 4 or 5, next 4 or 5 and keeping them in respective clusters. I think I like it...

Dance is done this way at pretty much every major event, I think, for the OD.

For anyone having trouble with the feed, I found the 700K speed is slightly less choppy for me.

Coolest names: I'm undecided between Farrell and Fishpaw (<- ger. Fischbach), and Lynn Kriengkrairut and Logan Giulietti-Schmitt

The feed is choppy throughout the performance, and of course it seems to improve after the dances are over.

The couple that just went in the swimsuits... . They get points for originality lol.

ETA: I think last year's audience was more lively. It's very quiet so far this year.

Thank GOD Meryl got rid of that hat thing she was wearing before in the OD, I hated it.

Granted I wasn't around in the 20s-40s, but I don't remember seeing girls wearing essentially bras as tops in the history books? How are these dresses era-appropriate? (Plus the black "panties" looks on Madison's skirt is incredibly unattractive.)

The Hubbells!!!
Yay they went clean. That was a great, lots of confidence in that performance. They have a way of grabbing your attention and holding onto it. I'll say more later.

I got butterflies the instant they took the ice, but that was fantastic! I'm so happy for them, they looked elated throughout the entire program and it was just amazing.

Charlie's twizzles looked so much smoother, though they seemed to have unison issues on the second set (or maybe it is the choppy feed? Seriously not the time for the feed to go all screwy!) but it evened out at the end.

And I like Meryl's hair so much better like that, without that silly looking hat thing.

I love Igor's beaming smile!

Considering it's Nationals, some scores (D/W in particular) seem a bit low. Are the scores just more realistic this year, or is the caller not giving out the levels?

I actually expected D/W's score to be much higher, considering it's at National's... but their TES doesn't seem to be high.. maybe cause one or two of the elements didn't get the level?

I can breath again. Now just S&B and N&B have to skate their best to make me happy. My IN feed is so rough that it makes very odd watching though.

From what I could tell, their unison looked good...but it was hard to see. I'll have to watch it again when it goes up on demand

Good performance from Samuelson/Bates.

Kerrigan sounds to be quite a fan of them.

Whoa...I guessed they would get a 56 and that's what they got!

Go NavBoms!

I love Trina Pratt & Chris Obzansky's program and they performed it very well.

The OD has been really impressive so far. The U.S. has so many talented teams.
