I was there and enjoyed his program so much!
Me too...I haven't had time to post until now, but I was just so very happy for him! Honestly, I wasn't surprised that he did better than Max and I figured he could probably end up in 4th or 5th, given the strong competition, but I noticed in the predictions game that very few people put him up there. Shame...seeing those beautiful jumps and how expressive he was live was wonderful...and it made me so happy to go back and read all the positive comments on the SA threads here. He is constantly getting written off or forgotten about in favor of the younger guys, but he is still in the game and I hope he sticks around for awhile longer. Go silver fox!

(looks too serious...)
for the rest !!
Is that too much to hope for? He really skated from the heart, and I think that's why he did so well. Best of luck in the FS.
Especially since I think he's made visible progress with his artistry, but he's one of those skaters who will unfortunately always have that "just a jumper" label, I guess. That said, I think he still has a pretty good shot here for a bronze, as Daniel is highly inconsistent. Good luck to him.
