So proud of Shoma for coming out and winning his biggest battle -- his battle with his nerves! Tight on his jump landings, but he held it together. And, most importantly, he got it done!!!! He's a strong free skate person, so I have high hopes for him. Maybe my favorite gray costume brought him good luck. Now if we could just get Fluffy to wear the magic coat.

Tomorrow will be a battle royale. Really looking forward to it!

Step Sequence 3. He was still so beautiful but it has been getting out of control lately.

Nevertheless, I just love this performance. I think it’s the best I have seen him interpret it. And those jumps!!! Shoma’s knee is a thing of wonder because rarely anyone can save landings like that.

Congrats on 3rd place and best of luck on the free, Shoma.

If we look at all his events for the season, including the 2 Olympic short programs -- step sequences have been Lev. 2 - 1 time, Lev. 3 - 4 times, Lev. 4 - 3 times. I'm not so sure it's out of control. It has always seemed to me like he loses speed on it. I guess he has one more time (at Worlds) to try to get a Level 4!

I mean, he has been hitting it only once in the last 6 performances / 3 international competitions (GPF, 4CC and Olympics - Team and Single SP). It is just lately and he nailed it in Nat but seemed to be rushing through it in big competitions.

P/s: Or maybe because i have been looking at both SP and FP thus find it a little troubling

I JUST GOT HOME AND I AM SQUEALING WITH DELIGHT WITH ALL THESE UPDATES. Clean performance!!! [emoji172][emoji172][emoji172] Let's all have a group hug together and hope for the best LP tomorrow. Go, EMPEROR SHOMITA!!!! [emoji172][emoji172][emoji172]

Go Shoma:hap10:! I love how he always brings it during big competitions despite having really iffy practices beforehand. Hopefully he slays the free program and makes my dream podium, Yuzu/Shoma/Javi come true

It's German Eurosport, the woman is Petra Bindl who is in love with Shoma. :) She's happy he's done so well and says he is an artist on ice and also has the needed technique. She is happy he did so well.

Stopping by to wish Shoma a great FS. I think I have him first in my predictions - shows how highly I think of his mental resilience. Fingers crossed, and hopefully Shoma has a no-fall FS! He deserves to be on the podium.

Aww that's cute to see competitors helping and supporting each other like good friends.

Gasp -- watching Group 4 practice on the Main Rink on the livestream. Camera is usually on the person whose music is playing. Just saw a blue velvet catsuit go flying by the camera. Hooray for blue!

5:54 pm CST, Sho just skated up to Fluffy's Bar for his first drink...Ran his program just marking his jumps and spins.

CONGRATULATIONS SHOMA!!!!!!! You ARE MY PRINCE!!! YOU ARE THE OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALIST!!!!
