Thanks! Ive never been to US (I want to, some day!), but living there for Japanese doesn’t sound so difficult. No wonder some Japanese skaters, Shizuka, Dai, Nobu, Mao.., etc. once went to US for the coaches there. Speaking of Benihana, im a big fan of curry rise there. Now I looked up it online and was surprised to see their business in abroad.
Jason is at Carol’s now? If shoma is there, it’s wonderful. Daisuke Murakami practices there. I think he’s really kind-hearted and persistent guy! He can speak English fluently (his first language seems English, not Japanese), he can be a great help to Shoma! Of course, getting instructions/advises from Carol must be a big experience for him. I like his students artistic performances like Kwan and Lysacek.
Yes, Japanese people can live here easily. The only difficulty I see is that our public transportation in this area is non-existent, unless you are in downtown Chicago... Yes, there are 3 or 4 Benihana in the Chicago area - one only a mile from my house (which is good and bad!
) I will be having my birthday dinner there!I was shocked to see that Jason was working with Frank Carroll. Here is the training center. www.deserticecastle.com. I forgot that Daisuke trains there, as does Gracie Gold. Anthony Liu is also there. Maybe Daisuke could be Shoma's translator!
Correction: This is only speculation that Jason was possibly working on jumps with Frank Carroll. Daisuke, Gracie, and Jason were skating at the Toyota Center. Did not intend to mislead anyone.
Thank you to Tavi for the correction.

but I couldn't find one who looked like him.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it. I think I almost fainted when I saw Shoma and Mao listed. My link is more the American perspective. I had a little trouble finding the full list, but it's there on
