Shoma Uno: 2014-2024

I'd say he's basically shouting 'my body is ready' here but I'm not sure how old he was in this gif so I'm not going to say anything else......

Shoma looks a bit like a spider when he's doing his '3-legged table' (henceforth, I'll always refer to this cantilever variation using this wonderful term).
As to 'my body is ready' -- well, yeah, I hope we will not witness a '5-legged table' at some point of his adult career... Oops, I crossed the line here . I apologize.

Yey, back in an area with a decent Internet connection! It's fun to be without it for a while, though. It doesn't really look like he has rosacea. The red hues on his face only come out when he's exercised/performed. I think he just has more capillaries on his face, which tend to become bigger and get filled with blood when he gets hot (during exercise), to dissipate the heat. After he's cooled down, it goes away. Don't diagnose rosacea on him, the condition often has pimple-like things on the face, which we don't want for him!

Kanna, you're going to 4CC too? I decided to finally watch a competition live and got tickets before, despite not knowing who was going. I felt like I won the lottery when I found out last week that Shoma was going! [emoji13] Fun, fun! I hope it doesn't tire him too much, though!

Thank you for your comments on the rosacea Dr. Latremu! I was hoping he didn't have it. I have a friend who does, and it looks a little bit like him. But, never mind!...SO happy for you that you will go to 4CC. Have fun!

^^^Stunning! Satomi Ito is a genius! All of them are gorgeous, but I think the ones she has done for the Prince and for Satoko are among the best. That black one with the red flowers was for Satoko's Hernando's Hideaway EX, I think. I still can't decide whether I like the gray or the new SP one best. I think I prefer the gray. Should we take a vote?! :luv17:

I love her work! So intricately detailed and well thought out.

I'm torn between the two costumes. The purple one screams out "My body is ready!" (thanks, xeyra)- people were joking about how he is suddenly showing so much skin a few days after turning 20- while the grey one, especially when the pants became black (whew!), seems to fit the aesthetic of Winter better. Skin vs. Winter aesthetic - such a hard decision! [emoji13] What if he suddenly changed costumes at the 1-minute mark? [emoji23] Then we can really compare which is better!

Satomi ito's designs are gorgeous! I can't make up my mind either about the costumes. I like the purple one more if you only think about the costume, it's absolutely gorgeous. But like Latremu said I think the previous costume fit the theme of Winter a little bit better. I actually liked the very first one the most in terms of color. But it's impossible to concentrate on skating with the grey pants so... :roll5:

I don't think anyone ever responded to your question. I don't remember that I ever saw a full translation of the program. We saw some bits and pieces about when they answered 10 questions, about the costumes, etc. Maybe someone else remembers differently? I feel like I saw some translation on shoma-uno.tumblr.com

ETA -- I don't remember ever seeing this picture of the Prince with Tarah Kayne and Kana. Must be during one of the ice shows or at Skate America 2016.
