I was thinking the same thing demarinis! He is so handsome in that photo with Stepen. What a difference a few weeks makes. Crying in Grenoble, and smiling in Moscow with Stepen. Note the mighty thighs in that picture. He OUGHT to be smiling in that photo with Mr. Chukyo after that skate he had! I think the photo with Fluffy he is at Shombardia. Looks like his Winter costume.. The blond lady must be somewhere nearby!!!!!

What blond lady are you talking about? A European fan? Machiko Yamada? (Her hair seems more brown than blond to me) Honestly, I became a fan of Shoma's only after the 2018 Olympics.

Shoma Uno Japan--I also commented on Shoma's costume in a previous ICE STYLE post but I loved it so much, I had to repeat my comments here again: Free Skate to Bolero (Boléro IV New Breath) by Maurice Ravel, performed by Tomotaka Okamoto: Caron also created this gorgeous costume worn by Uno for his Free Skate to Ravel's "Bolero". This black and gold ensemble was giving me Toreador Couture vibes with its cropped bolero vest, gold side trim crystal detail, and super sleek lines. It was modern, stylish and yet, still had enough costume flair. 9.75.

Congrats to Shoma and Matthieu for the design. It is classy in black. Wonder if this is the final costume for the season? Doesn't he sometimes have 3 costumes for each program? We've seen two for Oboe so far but if it's the final one, I'd be surprised.Sho made the best dressed list again. I always enjoy reading the costume reviews.

He seems to have fewer costumes these days, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he has something special in mind for the Olys. After all, he has to maintain his reputation on the best-dressed list!

Compared to 2018 costumes, Bolero is tame but it is glittery and looks great on him. Yeah, the Oboe costume is up there with the Loco costume for me.Compared to 2018 costumes, Bolero is tame but it is glittery and looks great on him. I'm surprised the gorgeous Oboe costume wasn't mentioned.
