^ Sota is doing his best to increase his tech to match the often younger quadsters to stay relevant, is hopefully rebounding after a couple of years of struggles in terms of coaching and I suspect also mental and health issues, and unlike all other top (and sometimes much lower-ranked) Japanese men, no show deigned to invite him this summer so he hasn't had it easy financially. I'm sure he'd be working with world class choreographers if he could, and would have had his quads stabilized enough by now to pay attention to developing his choreo more if not for the various setbacks he's had to overcome. It's not like he's been gifted any PCS or GOE to save his score when his tech isn't working out. No surprise he's choosing to focus on TES in competition.
Whatever.
Well done to Sota, and I look forward to watching everyone's programs.
Well I think the music choice is maybe not helping.. perhaps something more "creative" could go very well with the increased TES? You know him better, is there (FS) music you'd wish for him to skate to?
