It´s not unfair. The federation thougt that Lina has bigger chance to get a good placement at Europeans. Her practise runthrough is good now. She need some more competitions. The federation is trying to get her a place at Russian Championships.

Lina do all tripplejumps, Viktoria as most 2 ore 3. She don´t have any flip ore lutz.

You forgot that Lina has shown in her homecountry at the JGP final that she can skate good with pressure. She did a fenomenal skate with all tripplejumps and nearly beat Miki Ando!!!

Still, isn't the whole point of Nationals to see who the best one is and then send her off to represent us at Euros? Otherwise, what's the point? It's like, yay, I'm the best they have but they still won't let me compete big competitions! I mean, how can she show the federation that she can do good at big competition if she can't compete them?
I'm sorry, but I still think that's wrong.

I have to bot agree and dissagree with you. Lina has all the jumps so she's got bigger chanses at Euros (if she lands the jumps, which she has done in practise). Viktora won and the winner should go but she don't have all the jumps so even if she does the jumps where will she place (compared to Lina landing less jumps), and how is her other elements compared to Lina? In Finnish nationals the girl who came second can't go to Euros becase she didn't compete in any international senior comps (but I believe she's go all jumps since the other girls have). So this is more unfair to me.

(added: guess Laura don't have all jumps so then I understand it more)

Finnish newspapers wrote that Laura just got her last triple jump, the lutz. So, she should have them all despite of the fact that she has not landed triple lutz in competition yet.

I just took a look on the judges marks from nationals and made my conlusion from them, but now I know she has all jumps

All triples or not, I still think it is a shame that Laura and Viktoria won't go to Euros. It's always fun to see new faces in big international events.
