These children, they are completely different, smart and wise beyond their years, this people cannot be broken by anything.

We left for the competition in the morning.
Very creepy and scary for the kids.

"We just have a star." - it's kind of a euphemism. Instead of a rude obscene word, the word "star" is put. The phrase should be translated as follows: "We have terrible things happening now".
