Hi there.

While we are awaiting official confirmation entrants, I would love to see who potentially qualified for Worlds until now.
Does anyone know where we can find the list of technical scores this season?

Here are the minimum technical scores (from an international event).
Discipline SP / SD FS / FD
Men 34 64
Ladies 27 47
Pairs 25 43
Ice dance 29 39

when is the deadline / wich competition is the last to get the points

I'm not sure when the deadline is.... Here is a list of the comps for this season, there are 12 more before Worlds (one of which begins today). The last few are pretty close to Worlds though, not sure if those would count.

Ladies, Men, Pairs, & Dance. Some of the listed numbers are for 2013, sorry, I don't know how to show results for 2014-15 only :)

*Ahem* my bad, according to Wiki you can meet the required TES in the current or previous season, so 2013-14 would still be relevant.

I've gone through each discipline & noted which skaters would qualify (according to the ISU list which sometimes is not up-to-date btw). I've also gone through & noted how many spots each country has to fill. Each discipline has a pretty long list, so I think it would be best if I were to post each potential representatives per discipline in a separate post... I'm not sure if anyone would even be interested in me posting all the possibilities though....:

For sure, it will be possible to reach the TES for worlds during :
- 4 continents
- Dragon trophy
- Bavarian open
- Nordics open
- Challenge cup
- Sarajevo open
- Hellmut Seibt memorial

And maybe during Junior Worlds.

At the beginning of the season, it was announced that TES should be reached 21 days before the competition, but for the Europeans it was finally only 14 days. And according to entries in this week's competitions, it's possible that it would be 14 days too for Junior worlds

For sure, especially if you already wrote that!

I went through every discipline in my head but I would love to have such a list on paper.

By the way, I am sad Javier Raya is not qualifying. :( Let's see if someone from 4 Continents could do that, Margalik?) ;)

Merci beaucoup Nirti.

Very informative, great job! I wish a bit more skaters could make it to Worlds, especially in Pairs.

I noticed two other skaters that are very close from meeting the requirements and that could potentially still make it to Worlds.
Chih-I TSAO (Taiwan) and Gerli Liinamäe (Estonia, although she is not doing Juniors, maybe Challenge Cup?)

And who knows maybe someone else will shock us at Juniors and qualify as well!

You're welcome ;-)

Yes, Tsao was very close to do it at 4 Continents... He'll do Helmut Seibt Memorial and Junior Worlds.
Gerli Liinamäe will do Challenge Cup.

I don't see any other skater who could do it at Challenge Cup or Sarajevo Open, but who knows! Maybe Beständigova & Mansiz will qualify ^^

I will bet good money that Didier Gailhaguet has not intention send Alessandrini/Souquet to Worlds.
They train with Muriel Zazoui and there is the famous war between Gailhaguet and Zazoui.

Why are the two of them having such a destructive and seemingly pointless war?

Kerstin Frank (AUT) and surprisingly Niki Wories (NED) met the criteria to compete at Worlds yesterday at the Challenge Cup.

Another skater that met them is Eveline Brunner (SUI), although there is another skater from her country Anna Ovcharova that had also met them.

That way, we have 36 ladies that could potentially compete at Worlds. ;)

I forgot about them, congrats! By the way, there is also a new Polish-Spanish team that almost met them in their first participation in an ISU event. I love surprises like that.

FIN offical entries
Ladies: Korpi

Ice Dance: Törn / Partanen

Karmi/Lindholm and Törn/Partanen are both quite equal ice dance couples so they decided to send Törn/Partanen this time.
