Is that Cesario? Whoever she is, she's stunning.
I agree that most skaters are pretty. Not that they all have regular features, but they all look healthy and are so expressive, and that adds to the glow of just about anyone. I love that the skating world is now so diverse, both with skaters from different countries (and continents!), and with the varied populations of countries such as the U.S., Canada, and France. Beauty is indeed a very broad spectrum, and I say thank Heaven for it.

I agree with you 100%. I went to the one of the rink in CA once, all the kids are so pretty.

. Among the embarrassment of riches is the beautiful Alissandra Aronow (ice dancer with Collin Brubaker). As are Gao, Zawadzki, Nagasu, Hicks, Cain, Miller, Glenn, Czisny, Flatt, Zhang, Scimeca, Kayne, Aaron [ETA: I should have said the Aarons x 2], Kriengkrairut, the Cannuscios, Samuelson, etc., etc., etc.

I think most of elite lady skaters (well, men just a few) are all very pretty, especially when they are on ice

Well, is it just me or I think Wagner looks more Hollywood than Gold?
I always thought Ashley looked like a starlet from Golden Age of Hollywood, the 40s.
I've heard people call Ashley Wagner the Rachel McAdams of figure skating, she's definitely way more Hollywood to me than Gracie, especially after seeing her at the Oscars.
The American ladies are all really beautiful though, so many girls of different backgrounds and they're all so different in the best way.

Wagner isn't a real blonde btw, she dyed her hair in 2012
she is not Classical Hollywood , You need to have the timeless allure beauty that people will associate with and she is short.
Gracie is definitely more Hollywood and she has real Hollywood friend connections and lives in Malibu

Again, no one has a monopoly on beauty ... or on any subjective subcategorization within the subjective realm of beauty.
Not Wagner, not Gold, not anyone. (And as the thread title reflects, not women of any particular race.)
Wagner and Gold both are young, healthy, talented, and accomplished ... with a multitude of family, friends, and admirers who adore them.
I believe that they both have the good sense not to waste a minute of time wondering or caring whether they are perceived as "Hollywood" beauties (talk about a subjective description).

It's not just you. Ashley has a foxy/sultry smirk that reminds me of Nicole Kidman for some reason. And she skates with fire and attitude instead of being prim and prop.
Gold is pretty (heck, they all are!), but reminds me way more of a Disney channel or teen queen (a la Hayden Pannetiere or Michelle Trachtenburg). I'd like to see her get a little more spunk and character, rather than exude her pageanty look.

My goodness, what fascinating photos of Sasha. The photographer must have been delighted to have a subject flexible enough to take just about any pose and bring out its beauty as well as its cutting-edge oddness.
