Sunday Silence
(Interesting in that he was sold to Japan as a broodmare sire after his racing career ended in the US. His success there was astonishing; if he had remained in the US he would have been overlooked in this regard. I read he was “hot”++++
Beautiful horse; listed as dark Bay but in fact is true Black. He always reminds me of the Sherlock Holmes tale “Silver Blaze” about a very smart kidnapped racehorse.

Could not read the French from original poster but so lovely to see such a little one enjoying freedom. A little filly, I think, if Phaedryn is her name.. lovely name but the mythological Phaedra was not so nice!😅 Really glad you enjoyed it!🩷

Ohh yes definitely it's a female name, of course!:palmf: I didn't get the name properly I'm afraid😅...
I had the opportunity to study ancient Greek and Roman Theater last winter, and yes Phaedra was very much involved!!

We are horse lovers❤️

What would the offence be in that case, distracting or upsetting the horse/rider team as they were about to compete? I can see how that could be dangerous in show jumping.
Yes. He was blocking the entrance like I would be if I stood in the middle of the skaters entrance when they were trying to get on the ice. Except horses, unlike skaters, are large unpredictable prey animals. They can decide to kick if they’re crowded. I don’t know the sex of the horse he was riding but stallions around mares in heat can be especially unpredictable.
I think it’s odd it lists no end date. So we can’t really determine if the punishment fits the crime.
I think I would be ok with a warning as no one got hurt. But he may have gotten warnings in the past.

Sunday Silence was definitely black. What a horse and sire he was!
