You jinxed them! lol Just kidding. :)
But they recovered well after that.

They need to work those twizzles like there is no tomorrow as soon as they get back to Canton :curse:

I'm sorry but this was a bad skate. Worst skate of this FD of this season, and I'm not talking just about the twizzles. I think it's too much pressure for them, they skated as leaders first time ever.

And they just proved that it's a very dangerous path for the Fed to stake everything on such a new team. But anyway, congratulations with silver medals! Deserved second place is better than undeserved first :) Hope they will skate better at Euros.

Bad twizzles but I'm honestly surprised that they somehow managed to never went down on it completely. Anyway, congratulations on silver medal. Hopefully, they can learn something from the experience and build up from it. So much improvement from last year.

Congrats on silver! :) Their inexperience showed here, I think. And the general twizzle issues. :palmf: But I have faith that they will work it all out. So far they have been very disciplined and focused on improving things step by step. Their lifts went on too long at SA, by CoR that was sorted (except for that obligatory deduction in the FD the tech panel gave everyone LOL). They had problems with their TES in the SD in the GP, by Nationals it was much improved. Now they need to make those twizzles less scary, please!

Still, what immense progress they've made since last year! They can be very proud and very happy with themselves!

Well, Nikita reacted better to his mistake than in the past. I think that's an important point that needs to be made.

hahf I KNOW! (well the one actually reported about it the one who jinxed:dev3:)

But really that moment in the K&C when he has his head buried in is hands give me hope!!
Oh Nick. & Vika made the mistake too to add the insult to injury.
AT least they know what exactly they have to do to improve! Its much better to have issues with tech than have say...bad programm that doesnt fit the couple

Despite of the iffy FD, I think they have done a good job of not making the pressure fully engulf themselves. I hope this silver fuels them more and keep their heads up. :yay:

Good job except for the twizzles...lol... Glad to see though that he kept it real at the press conference. He has matured a bit, thank goodness...

I wonder when he'll mature enough to always perform twizzles :sarcasm:
Although this time something happened to both of them :scratch2:

At least this time he a) didn't actually fall and b) they battled through them. I never approved on how Nikita just gave up on the twizzles entirely at Worlds 2014 with IK when he could have at least done part of the twizzle sequence and gotten at least some points for them, enough to medal.

Had SK not made a mistake on the twizzles I believe they would have scored higher than IZ and probably kept 1st place. The news for IZ was not going to be good anyway because with a clean Frida skate they only scored a point or so higher than SK with a mistake in an element.

Yeah, I think all things considered he reacted pretty well once things started going awry. He was probably a bit thrown off by Viktoria wobbling on the first set and mistimed his second set. I think if he hadn't stepped out and aborted the moment he did, he would have wiped out and fallen. So at least he saved them some points and avoided a deduction for the fall and could complete the third set.
