Love the new sp esp the dramatic ending pose.:love: Considering there is still over a month til 4cc they will likely polish it up well by then. The pair event in gp this season has been so flat without them and their artistry.

They've been fully practicing only for two weeks, so they say there is a lot of room to improve.
Also (thankfully) white costumes are not finalized. I think Han Cong said that his costume was actually for the free?

They have drama and chemistry like no other team! Hope they can get their jumps together by 4CCs

I feel the same way. The song is a bit meh during the operatic part, but I don't really care because it's them. The choreo is stunning though and it is different from what they have done in the past.

It was the other cut of music in Papadakis/Cizeron's sublime Build a Home Program. I think a couple other skaters have also used it since.

ETA:I watched the clip and I'm so excited! These two programs represent my babies getting back to their distinctive style of 2017. Please let their health hold up because they are about to take it to another level! :hap10:

Coming back to answer the SP music question. There's now an HD version of the program on YouTube. It gives the song credit as No One Like You by Red Electrick.

It turns out Red Electrick is a rock band from Malta. The operatic voice is Joseph Calleja, a Maltese tenor. Here's a live version of the song with a children's choir singing background.

Now that the question has been answered I still like the song but wish there was a version with the lead singer of the band singing all the way through. It sounds like worlds colliding to me.

Still love the program :love:
 
I love this fs music so much after seeing P/C skating to it. It will be interesting to see their take on it. The ending will sure be amazing and dramatic.

I think they ended correctly, the music seemed to have started over since it sounded just like the beginning of the program!

Hmm... that's interesting. I really love the lift, but they might take it out to focus on Level 4s.

I love the lift as well but the level 4 is more important. Their last two major Championships (2017 Worlds and the Olympics) were decided on razor thin margins. Last quad we saw them sometimes keep in moves that were beautiful (e.g. the pair spin) but not strategic.

I need them to be a Meghan Duhamel this quad and count their points. :biggrin:

This makes me wish that somehow they could be rewarded on unique and beautiful spins/choreography/lifts although I know there are rules against it :laugh: The lift in the SP is so awesome and lots of people have been complimenting it. Too bad there is no points benefit...
