They've been fully practicing only for two weeks, so they say there is a lot of room to improve.
Also (thankfully) white costumes are not finalized. I think Han Cong said that his costume was actually for the free?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who disliked the operatic portion. It doesn’t ruin the program for me—S/H could sell me anything—but I woudn’t be upset if they somehow took that part out
They have drama and chemistry like no other team! Hope they can get their jumps together by 4CCs
I feel the same way. The song is a bit meh during the operatic part, but I don't really care because it's them. The choreo is stunning though and it is different from what they have done in the past.
Just two weeks?? :eeking: Respect! Imagine this program in March. I can't wait! :hap85:

Who else was this music used by? It sounds so familiar.
It was the other cut of music in Papadakis/Cizeron's sublime Build a Home Program. I think a couple other skaters have also used it since.
ETA:I watched the clip and I'm so excited! These two programs represent my babies getting back to their distinctive style of 2017. Please let their health hold up because they are about to take it to another level!
Coming back to answer the SP music question. There's now an HD version of the program on YouTube. It gives the song credit as No One Like You by Red Electrick.
It turns out Red Electrick is a rock band from Malta. The operatic voice is Joseph Calleja, a Maltese tenor. Here's a live version of the song with a children's choir singing background.
Now that the question has been answered I still like the song but wish there was a version with the lead singer of the band singing all the way through. It sounds like worlds colliding to me.

Gorgeous short program! However, TSL is saying they will need to change this lift: https://www.instagram.com/p/BsBeGsgAjjj. Is this right? I find it hard to believe that they would put a lift (that’s terrific!) and work it that hard if it’s actually an illegal element.

I think TSL need to update their database. In this season, carry is allowed in sp, but not counted as features for levels.
Ooh, thank you for the link! I am really liking this already, love the opening and the timing of the lifts. I wonder if they ended the program early, since the music still sounded like it was going after their final pose?

I think they ended correctly, the music seemed to have started over since it sounded just like the beginning of the program!

Hmm... that's interesting. I really love the lift, but they might take it out to focus on Level 4s.
I love the lift as well but the level 4 is more important. Their last two major Championships (2017 Worlds and the Olympics) were decided on razor thin margins. Last quad we saw them sometimes keep in moves that were beautiful (e.g. the pair spin) but not strategic.
I need them to be a Meghan Duhamel this quad and count their points.

This makes me wish that somehow they could be rewarded on unique and beautiful spins/choreography/lifts although I know there are rules against it
The lift in the SP is so awesome and lots of people have been complimenting it. Too bad there is no points benefit...

S/H are trying 3lo with assistance in their training! I don't know if they can finally put it into their arsenal, but I think it's a nice try.
