What's your weather like?

I imagine most people have heard about our storm. We have just under and inch of sleet and snow and roads are not good. Expect more snow tonight and/or tomorrow. Luckily we still have electricity. I don't have a fireplace so it's hard on me when it does go. Won't be going to Church tomorrow.

I'm just on the edge of the storm. Pretty much past us by 20 miles or so. I'm very thankful.

Please be very careful in this wicked winter weather that you're having.

We'll be below 30 all day tommorrow. Ugh! I gotta dig out some real winter clothes for this week!

I think it was close to freezing today. At least it will slowly be warming up now. Our local streets are frozen but the main ones and the highways are said to be clear. Hope we can make it to choir practice tomorrow night.

We've had record breaking "hard freezes" every night for about two weeks. The orange crop here, and it's huge, is about 90 percent gone. Bad news for the orange growers and consumers who'll have to pay more in the stores.......42

Yesterday, the temperature was -11, yikes. Today it's in the teens, feels kind of tropical outside.

Sad to say, the money we in the Midwest are saving on heating this winter will be made up by the cost increases we will face for fruits and vegetables.

BTW, there is currently several inches of snow on the ground here. And it has been much closer to the average temperatures for January this week.

parts of Texas closed down yesterday due to cold?????????? it was 29 degrees where a friend of mine lives and the town closed down...

Texans are wimps? I'd have never guessed lol

Dennis :p Sure wouldn't mind the hot and 80* it's warm 38* here right now, would you like to trade

It was snowing when I got up and is still going. One good thing is that there hasn't been the winds we had been having. I just measured about 5 inches of new snow and there was more than an inch of the snow, freezing rain and
sleet under that. I would estimate at least close to 7 inches total. Lots of church services, etc. have been closed. I'm sure not going anywhere today. ha
It's about 29 out. I plan on driving to my mailbox today like I did for my paper.

It's cold, were suppose to get wintery mix last night and this morning turning to rain but looks like it missed us and all were getting right now is misty rain.
What is it about 9 weeks til spring :)

Snow for the 5th straight weekend. At least it would appear that we will not have the water conservation "problems" that we did last year. I hope people don't go overboard with the water usage this year just because of the "one time" fall records. Who knows what next year will give us.

Montreal. It's been about 80 below zero most of the past week... OK, I'm exaggerating... the cold (-20) just feels alot colder because we spent the first half of January averaging about 15 degrees (Celcius... so about 25 F) above normal! Which meant no snow on the ground mid-January - very rare. But it's back now.

it's snowing again, we weren't even supposed to get an inch tonight and there's about three (or was an hour ago)

God's bday gift to me i guess lol
