Who Will You Miss in the GPFinal? (Spoiler?)

I will miss:

Ladies Joannie, Miki, Sarah and Ashley

Men Brian, Jeffrey, Stephen C., Tomas and Oda

Pairs Vise/Trent (that 4 throw I want to see again) also Mukhortova/Trankov; Langois/Hay; Miller/Moram

Ice Dance Carron/Jost, Cappellini/LaNotte, Davis/White

Men: only Joubert and Verner. While I still enjoy watching him skate, Buttle does not belong in an event like this any longer. Carriere is not ready at this point. I dont like Oda's childish skating anyway and there are better skaters out there so I wont miss him.

Pairs: only Mukartova/Trankov. Langlois/Hay and Miller/Moram dont belong in an event like that. A 4 throw alone should not make Vise/Trent worthy participients in the event at this point.

Dance: only Davis/White perhaps. Carron/Jost and Cappellina/
LaNotte did nice to take advantage of depleted Skate Canada field, but dont belong in an event like this.

Ladies: Rochette and Miki Ando possibly. Sarah is a bubble option, and since she didnt skate well this GP series I dont mind not seeing her. Ashley is not ready for an event like this at this point.

Ashley Wagner. She has some great skates this season, and she should have been there. Maybe next year for her.

I will miss Brian Joubert and Tomas Verner.

While I am not a 100% fan of Brian, I do like his power, like to see him winning. It won't be the same without him at this year's GPF. I think Tomas has a great potential. He has power and musicality. If he can work on his consistency, he will be way better than Evan Lysacek. I like Jeffrey Buttle, but sadly, he is on his way down, I think it's not because he didn't work hard enough, it's because that he has reached his potential.

The trouble with wishing that someone had made the finals is that then someone else wouldn't have.

I was rooting for Joannie, but I'm not sure I would want to sacrifice Caroline Z.

well I'm not a big fan of most of the dancers in the ice dance category so I wouldn't miss one of them if MelDen had been able to compete and make the final LOL

Ashley Wagner. She has some great skaes this season, and she should have been there. Maybe next year for her.

She got off to a bad start of Skate Canada but her LP picked her up. In TEB she was more appreciated and got bronze. She finished 10th with mostly very seasoned skater ahead of her. Next year for sure but next year Mirai makes her debut. We can wait and see.
