For the record, decorating for Chanukah is pretty minimal. We display our electric menorah in the window (and light the regular one with candles inside - you recite special blessings over the one with candles). We have a Chanukah banner hanging on the living room wall & one in the kitchen.

eat out over the weekends! I want to have a break from cooking then! During the winter months I don't mind weekend take-out @ all!

sledding! And if you have a fire, make smores! There's something about the marshmallows you just delicately charred, melting the chocolate as you squish them both between the graham crackers, and then nearly burning your mouth with them! Sounds charming, doesn't it?
