Win a long string of silvers. (People tend to remember the skaters who were consistently on the podium for years and they have longer careers if they want to. The one-trick wonders who come out of the shadows and win the Olympics and then disappear again tend to be semi-forgotten.)

Socks with sandals even if that's a fashion no-no. Can't stand the feel of leather shoes rubbing on bare feet.

Definitely river. Less chance of getting seasick, and a better chance of being rescued after falling overboard, since I can't swim.Probably just one - that's more than enough to handle!

(I finally gave in and bought a car again, a tiny used Fiat to putter around the neighbourhood on short errands, but only in the quiet hours in the middle of weekdays. I am not a good driver and can't navigate so I get confused easily and do stupid things.)
WYR wash dishes by hand or in a dishwasher if you just have a small number to do?

Not really interested in either sport, but I'll pick basketball because at the time I was in high school our school had the provincial champion boys' team four years in a row. Everyone went to the games to support them whether the sport itself interested you or not. A lot of "first dates" were to go with a boy to a Grey Ghosts' game. The boys on the team were heroes. A happy memory, still talked about a lot at class reunions.
WYR go on a guided tour with a group in a foreign city, or sightsee by yourself, making up your own itinerary?

Gas. For one thing, there's a gas station just a block away from my building. More important, I have a history of mysteriously causing anything electric to fail. I touch a wall switch and the ceiling bulb explodes in a blue flash. Two of my brothers do the same thing with larger appliances. One test-drove an electric car and it died a short distance from the dealership, to the salesman's dismay. It's supposed to be something to do with skin chemistry, but it doesn't happen all the time. Just often.

Carefully plan the arrangement of flower colors. I think I would enjoy arranging flowers in a certain way rather than having a random mixture.

Hmm, since I can't and don't swim, the only reason I'd be in water is if I fell in, so in that case a pool would be safer. Easier for someone to rescue me. (I've tried several times over the years to learn just for safety reasons, since I live in a seaport in a wet climate, so there's lots of water around. Can't get past the first floating lesson. Sink like a rock every time.)

Being heat-intolerant, I couldn't survive without AC. (One of the reasons I figure skate seriously, so I can spend a lot of time in an arena all year round
.) My car has AC. My home has AC. As a result, I can eat hot food all I want.WYR buy all your clothes new but have fewer items because of the expense, or buy second-hand in thrift shops and spend less but have more clothes in your closet?
