Do the dusting

WYR stream movies @ home or see them in a theatre?
I don't know how to stream movies, but I'd rather watch them at home than go out to a theatre, from what I've read about the behaviour of audiences these days.

WYR barbecue wieners for hot dogs or boil them? (The entertainment committee at my sports club are currently divided in this debate :angry3::angry4:)

BBQ them, although I prefer burgers!

WYR ride on a carousel or those high swings that go round & round @ an amusement park?

A carousel - closest I've ever come to riding since we discovered I'm allergic to the hay and straw when I tried to take riding lessons.

WYR experiment with cutting and styling your own hair or have it done by a hairdresser?

Hairdresser, definitely. I would never trust my manual skills to experiment with cutting my hair, or anyone else's TBH. :) Styling, yes, this can be done and undone if something goes wrong but cutting is a no-no for me unless it is a professional holding the scissors :drama:

WYR use a hair dryer or let your hair dry naturally?

Let it dry naturally at home. If I'm away from home skating or at dance class or whatever and use their showers, then I use a dryer for speed. But none of the cats I've lived with have tolerated the sound of a dryer, so I don't upset them by using one at home.

WYR wear shorts and a top in very hot weather, or a long very loose sundress?

Long very loose sundress, for sure. Unlike my girl, I do not even have shorts :laugh4: so if it is not a swimming suite it's a dress for me. Or some capri pants, but not when it is really hot.

So now you have some personal info on my fashion choices and can imagine me a bit better :)

WYR wear high heels or stick with some comfy shoes no matter the occasion?

(I wear long loose dresses at home all year. Only the fabric and maybe the height of the neck differs. With, ahem, nothing underneath, so I choose non-see-throughable fabrics and patterns. Comfort, comfort, comfort.)

Apart from ballroom lessons/practices/comps, I choose flat or very low heels, 1 1/2", on all occasions. Falling down a flight of outdoor stairs because my high-heeled sandals slipped, the open toe caught on the back of the next step, and my foot couldn't come out of the shoe because of the straps, put me off high heels away from the dance floor forever. I didn't know it was physically possible for your foot to bend completely upside down and backwards so you come down hard on the instep with the sole facing upwards until I did it. But I was skating again before I could walk without crutches because my skate boots held the ripped-apart ankle together like an old plaster cast. And it was my left foot, so not the one I needed for jump landings. Your true ice addict :).

WYR give a speech in public or send a written report?

Send in a written report (stage fright?). I'm kind of shy about (formal) speaking in public.

WYR wear sneakers with socks or sandals in the summer?

Sandals, no doubt.

WYR go hiking or biking as a weekend break?

Neither, but if I had to I'd choose the bike. I have one for running local errands, but it rains so much here I seldom get a chance to use it.

WYR have close family members (ones that you like) "camp" in your home for a visit :bed:, or have them stay in a nearby hotel at night and then spend the days with you?

Have them stay in a nearby hotel

WYR have a picnic in a park or BBQ in your back yard?
In a park. Less mess to clean up in the kitchen and no need to tidy the house, if it's a family gathering)

WYR swim in a public pool or go to a water park with slides and other water activities?

Public pool as long as I am able to swim laps (it depends how crowded it is). I swim 3-4 times a week @ our closest gym (5 minutes walking distance!). I like water parks, but we don't get to them very often (maybe once a season).

WYR go on a shopping spree or save your money for practical purchases?

Having very little money, I have to save it. (Then when I do get some extra, as a gift from family usually, I have a fun spree of buying all the practical stuff that's in my waiting Amazon cart and have fun opening the boxes when it all arrives.)

WYR live alone with no responsibilities or live with family even though you have to keep going even if ill or tired? [I'm on GS in the middle of the night here because I was hit with food poisoning last evening and am awake and . This is keeping me distracted, although the cat is objecting to the lamplight. I'm debating my answer to my own question there!]

Call. Unless some specific reasons exist, I usually prefer to talk to people.

WYR go by train or by car when travelling to another city (no plane as an option)?

Live with family

WYR write letters or call people on the phone (people you haven't seen for a long time)?
Write letters. I like to talk, but worry that I might catch people at a busy time if I phone. My loooong email messages they can read whenever they want.

WYR light a big room with a nice chandelier or use several desk and floor lamps scattered around?

(My neighbour next door is debating replacing her big ceiling fan with a chandelier and is dithering over this question. They have a happy dog who has broken several table lamps sweeping them off with his plumy wagging tail 🐕)

Light a big room with a nice chandelier (as long as the light from it is soft, not harsh).

WYR plan your own itinerary or go on a guided group tour for a new destination?

Probably a group tour is safer, depending on the destination and whether you speak the language or not. And much less bother, fewer planning worries.

WYR take medications orally, or intravenously by injection or IV?
