I think I've read somewhere, Telesport won't broadcast Euros. :disagree:I’m really missing our girl!! Will she be covering Euros? I still haven’t found any of her broadcast from Russian Nationals

Yulka is most "basic".
If you want to soften it even more, then there are plenty of more affectionate diminutives: Yulenka, Yulechka, Yulichka, Yulchik, etc..

the most common Юлия -> Юля, but when transliterated it looks the same (though it sounds different in russian)

Yay!!!! I’d never seen the Skate Canada Gala in high quality video before. The clips I had always watched were choppy. This program brings tears to my eyes but it is really good. I love how she grabs grabs the blade during the iSpin with both hands

I’ve nothing against Eteri but I think she misses the mark on some things. There was a spark in Yulia’s yes at the 2014 WC. They opened a lot of doors for each other IMO.

I added to my post above. Meh...whatever Eteri...she never really acknowledges her role in things when they go bad. It’s always an issue with the student it should seem. To me...it’s mutual shared success and mutual shared failure. There was a spark in Yulia’s eyes at the WC IMO. That hug after the SP and her great performance in spite of a fall in the FS is obvious to me. She gave one of the most sincere bows after the free....she didn’t check out.
I’m not mad or anything but Eteri is far from faultless in my eyes. YMMV
