Yuzuru Hanyu: 2013-14 Season

It will be broadcasted on June 30 at 1:15 am JST and again on July 5 at 18:00 JST. I'm hoping for some livestreams, but I'm sure the videos will be up on dailymotion quickly.

Thank you! I love the costume honestly speaking. It looks really nice in motion and it goes well with the music, but I wish he'd change the last spin into something more elegant, similar to one of his etude's

May I say, it's also possible he'll change his costume by the time the new season starts, so I wouldn't take this one as definite.

Anyway, I love Chopin and loved Mao's Chopin programs so I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Funny how everyone is saying this costume looks 80s...I thought his PW shirt looked like a bad 70s polyester shirt. I'm on the fence for this new one. I like it better than the ruffled shirt, but I think I actually prefer R&J2 to this one. Different strokes for different folks...

Yuzu talked to press that Chopin's music and putting a quad in second part are all his new trials in evolution. And the performance of new number today was just 10% in completion.

And I think Chopin is a lovely choice :yes: I like it very much so far. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Lol, then we know in the 2015-16 season, Yuzu will wear something '90s!

Yeah, preferences do differ. My friend is meh about PW outfit but completely in love with R&J2, despite the latter getting a lot of flak from many circles.

Agree, the costume looks ok now.... I am a fast convert. Now, I can't wait to see Ballade 1, I want to see that quad and combination in the second half.

I've heard this kind of spin is really hard to learn (with two blades), so it's the improvement for him from the technical point of view- learn a new difficult element. I don't remember exactly who I've seen performing it last season- can anyone help- was it Machida?

And I LOVE how the quad is put to interpret the music- amazing touch! Whoever placed it there (Buttle or Yuzu's idea)- kudos to you!:thumbsup:
