Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

The tickets are in such demand that there are lotteries held and with a corrupt ticket selling system in Japan (not just for FS, but for most major events), it takes inside connections or 3-6X the list price to get secure premium seating to many events. Hotels must get a secure number ahead of time. Lucky for you! I am glad that it worked out for you, but that is not to say that I think the system isn't in need of serious reform. IMHO.

You are right. I should look at it in a more positive light... :agree:
ooooookay  alrighty then. Next time I want tickets for something in Japan, I'll get in touch with the ticket mafia. Noted.

eh, I didn't get premium seats either ;) the next best category after premium, but almost at the far end of the rink. Not what I had hoped for. The seats aren't a complete disaster, but I'm pretty spoiled  but right now I'm feeling way too giggly to whine about subpar seating. I'm sure it'll be great either way.

I have a mixed feelings.. I have tickets for FAOI Makuhari and Kanazawa, so I'm happy that i can see him. At the same time, I deeply hope he will take a fully rest. Is he going to do so after all shows finish (probably, the last show will be the beginning of July, FaOI Kobe) ?

Anyway, I will report your guys of yuzu in detail. Sorry, my ticket are not good sheets:no:.

FaOI Makuhari will be broadcast on BS and CS asahi! But yuzu tend to fail jumps when cameras are in..
:laugh2: Anyways, his attendance at those shows were expected, and congrats to everyone who got tickets!! :cheer: Hope you all have a great time

@~Pamina~, when we're excited its hard to contain our inner goat noises ;) Just ask Javi lol

I wish they had not announced today about DOI and FaOi... I have tickets for FaOi Makuhari (not good seats), and I have already been trying to get tickets to FaOi Kobe as I live near Kobe, but four lotteries have turned up nothing for me. And now it will be impossible to get anything. Yahoo Auctions are selling Kobe tickets for up to 90,000 yen already. I love off-season shows, and I am a total Yuzu fan, but the crooked way of ticket selling in Japan is frustrating at best. Now it will be impossible for FaOi and DOI...

Why oh why can't I live in a country where FS is not popular?!? :drama:

I didn't know the same system applied in getting FS ticket as well! I hate this system :disapp:

It will be great. You are right. Forgive my jaded-ness. :slink:

I think its understandable. If you rarely get the chance, getting anything will be pretty exciting but if its commonly accessible, it must be extremely frustrating to go through all that every time. :slink: Hoping things go smoothly for you :yay:

I live in a place where fs is ABSOLUTELY not popular~! But it feels so bad since I never get to watch fs live! (even for winter olympics!) :(
I can never see skaters live in my own region and HAVE TO travel overseas to watch skating events! (so much inconvenience!)

So I actually kinda envy you

- May 30th, open: 15:00, start: 16:00
- May 31st, open: 12:00, start: 13:00

Thank you! Now I wonder which program will be done.
In FaOI, he will do 2 programs. One is corroboration with a guest singer, and another is what?
Last year, in Makuhari, he did corroboration with Go hiromi (damn song…) and Sochi SP (PW).
If another one is latest SP, will he do ballade? My finger crossed for Ballade!

At FaOI after DOI, he did new SP last year. This year will be so.

ah, sorry, didn't mean to call you a whiner in case you read it that way  I was totally talking about myself. Sorry. Initially I was just really annoyed that I didn't get the seats I wanted although I was pestering that poor concierge like a plague to get me those tickets. But I guess there are only so many ways to work around the ticket mafia, so I'm trying to be positive and make the best of it ;) no offense meant.

:laugh2: you know what, I totally get that now. I was actually in the waiting room at the doctor's office when I read the news on my phone, and I drew some really irritated stares at that moment.

You are so right. Forgive my momentary whiny complaining. I should be more grateful of my position and I did not mean to be spiteful or bitter. You are correct. :slink:

No offense taken! You just helped me realize I should be more appreciative of my situation. Thanks.

No no! I understand your frustration! Its an irony that we stay in places with so contrasting fs popularity, but still find it so difficult to watch our favourite skaters live in a nice seat!

Nah, we do understand the fact that it's hard to get seats, doubled with the fact that it's very expensive. ;) but yes, to watch such skaters as Yuzu, it means travelling a lot, which is so hard for most of us. If I'm lucky enough (meaning time+money), I plan to travel next year for the ice shows in Japan (and goodness, I know I'll already suffer for just the France-Japan plane prices, lol!)

But for now, it's good that, just like last year, it's gonna be on Japanese channels, so we can watch. Hey, regarding that matter, which add to you use to watch foreign TV without being blocked due to geolocalisation restrictions? (stupid restrictions, imho)

Yuzuru, Johnny, Stephane... we're gonna be spoiled as hell.

that cast list was already incredible before  this is just the sweet, sweet cherry on top of the sundae of awesomeness
(and we totally need a plushy-mushy-revival here, I'm so counting on that)

And I was trying to find out who's going to be the live act. I think it's Sarah Alainn again in Kanazawa and Kobe, and in Makuhari and Shizuoka it's Che'Nelle, right? (muddling my way through lots of Japanese that means very little to me without google translator) I could totally live with her because it seems like she can actually sing (which is so much more than what you can say about that other dude from last year. I'm even too lazy to look up the name. You know who I mean.)
