awwww. I like it!
Just saw the new official practice video. He is for sure still putting the Biellman(spelling?)spin in then. I hope that really just means his back is okay and the rest is precautionary.
And the water bottle spoiler... Ha! I thought of the gum commercial too. Is he going to be the first white and gold Phantom?
Just thinking about the Chopin costume making video and how he was saying whether the rhinestones on the sleeve will interfere with his jumping or not. Wasn't there an interview where he was wearing an armful of power stones, and was asked whether they affect his jumps? He definitely said no then.

Hopefully the water bottle will be for the EX. Hahaha! But whatever it is I am certain we will be wowed by his programs. I hope our university department meeting finishes early tomorrow night...

Asahi TV broadcast a special program Thursday night. They said that one hour before official practice, Yuzu showed up alone and make image training along rink! See 06m14s.

Thanks! I had no idea Matsuoka-san, the announcer, could speak such good English.
He used to be famous for being the highest ranked tennis player in Japan. Of course now, Japan has a new star, but he is still famous for his sports commentary especially for the figure skaters.
Hanyu seems to be focused. His determination gets him through even though his body is not always in the best condition.

So, that is what that image training is all about. I now get it. I like that look that he gives from the stands towards the rink. That is our Champion right there!!!
So... am I the only fannish person who has *not* watched any of Yuzuru Hanyu's new SP and LP (including his costumes etc.), none of his preparations etc.? I guess I am just strange that way in that I want the first time seeing his new programs to be when he feels it's polished enough to be used in competition.
Cannot wait to see it all!

I think there is no way the costume will be gold and white. I mean, according to the music Yuzu will be the phantom so the costume must be amazingly black (with bling-bling?). And that maybe a big change of style for him. Can't wait to see.
