I understood that he was feeling good today, as I understand it was first time official practice with new programs , and he had really good second part, but I don't udnerstand what he refers to

I think he said 'second quad', even though it sounds like 'second part', haha. Pretty sure he said the word 'quad' in a different interview before and it sounded like that too

The feeling of the choreography really is different than Wilson's, isn't it?

The program looks amazing as I knew it would. Shae-Lynne Bourne's choreography seems to highlight Yuzu's strengths, but those announcers would not stop chattering! How annoying! I couldn't hear the music and had to turn the volume off because I couldn't stand it.

I could deal with gold pants. Maybe TFTT shirt, black belt with blings and gold pants. If I remember correctly he hasn't worn other colored pants since turning junior. Anyways, we will probably too focused on his program to think about costumes. I know I will.

I think his biellmann is quite beautiful since people said that he was losing his flexibility.

Yeah, I agree with you. That's why in a previous comment I wrote: can we officially call that news featuring of the official practice "over-enthusiastic reporter men ruining Yuzu's practice music?" (Their intense chatting/speculating overrode the POTO music)

Yuzu practiced in a skating club in Shanghai today. He was crowded with many little girl skaters. One of them took some clips of his skating in rink and photos.

The LP practice. He didn't do any jumps or spins, just choreography and step sequences. The recorder's phone was full and had to release more space right in the middle of the programme, so she missed about 30 seconds.

Hopefully it's either a new costume that's white and gold, or ... let's prepare for the worst (in terms of FS costume). All I know now after watching the new official practice video is that the program looks awesome!

Not a perfect run but I enjoyed the program. It was beautiful despite failed combo and 4T . Good luck to Yuzu tomorrow. I will be awaiting for the videos... There were moments when the screen froze.

My advice to him would be to replace the 4S in tomorrow's LP. It's not worth it. He can win without it and he's clearly not feeling well so I don't think he should risk it.

I'll post my thoughts here and not in the LIVE thread because I want an opinion only from people who loves Yuzuru. I'm disappointed by this program: I'm not talking about the music or the choreo which I find exquisite, I'm not talking about Yuzu's mistakes because they can happen... I'm disappointed with the jumps' concept behind this program. Yuzuru already hit stellar scores with the traditional pattern: 4T - 3A - 3Lz+3T. I don't get where they want to go putting a majestic, reliable 3A at the beginning and the 4T in the second half. Yuzuru is the further thing from an athletic skater, he's fast but he has stamina's problems. Why they want to try something sooooo risky when you don't have the need. I wouldn't call it "progress", I can stand the risks in the FP, I can accept the idea to try the 3S or 3L in the short at most (this is what I call "progress") but I don't get the meaning of putting a toeloop in the second half only to get a little bonus but forcing your skater to push his energy.

His under eyes look a bit dark... I guess his placement is a good motivation for tomorrow though. Let us see what his plan b would be...

His actual skating was stunning! It's amazing to see his skating skills improve visibly over a summer. Perfect 8.30+3.00 GOE for the axel yay Is it strange that I didn't find it surprising at all that he missed the 2 jumps? He's had issues with the 4T & 3Lz combo in the ice shows this summer, plus it's his first competition back, with everyone's eyes on him... Hope he brings out his fighting spirit and show us an amazing LP tmr >_<
