I think Yuzu wanted to skate because of his very singular nature and of his climbing wall “ with the tips of fingernails”phylosophy. His eyes at the end of Poto FS in Barcelona were identical to the ones he showed at the end of R&J 1 in Niece..

Oh, I see that too. ;) At the end of Yuzuru's GPF POTO program when Yuzuru looked up, there was a second or two that his eyes seemed so intense that for a moment I was taken aback even though he was smiling. It brings to my mind this URL="http://311mi.tumblr.com/post/96411335613/yuzuru-can-improve-even-more-tracy-wilson"]comment [/URL]once made by his coach Tracy Wilson about him that when performing "it’s as if somebody else is inside him controlling his body, but when the performance ends, he’ll revert back to the lovable nineteen year old that he is."

As always thanks to those who posted links, translations, updates, and their insights. Happy New Year to everybody, and let's see how many days into this new year we'll hit 1,000 pages.

It's "but when he lands them(jumps), it's a delight!" in the original.

It was in the context of Liza being criticized for the easy jump entries. He said that the way she does it is much more difficult because "all those steps" before the jumps reduce the speed/cover technique flaws.
It actually puzzled me.
And then he mentioned Yuzuru as a (positive) example.

Isn't it harder to do steps before a jump precisely because it lowers the speed going into a jump? I don't see the logic here...
