And here is the link to the video. I hope it works for everyone!
I am wondering about his 4S. His struggling with it is nothing new. But I had hoped he would mastered it this season.:sarcasm:
It's just what went right at GPF with his 4S? I think he might have figured it out at GPF, about how to do a good 4S. Then why couldn't he apply it at Nationals. Cause it went wrong at Nationals again (like he didn't land the 4S even in practice).
I think, except the 4S, all of his technical problems are not chronic and can be fixed easily once his mind has figured out how to. Like the 3lz at Nationals when he landed the 2 beautiful lutz in his free just the day after the SP with the bad combo. Even his Flip has gotten somewhat better edge than last season (just flat edge, not wrong edge anymore).
Still... What's the problem with the 4S? Maybe in this case it's still too soon to say that he couldn't master the 4S. I hope it was because he lacked proper practice/ did not have enough training time due to fatigue and injuries. Since he didn't do many jumps and other elements in the practice video at Nationals as I have seen from the TV reports (like he only had 50 minutes on ice per day).
Or should he change the layout and use the 4lo next season? I hope he can put an end to the chronic 4S all together.
His SP in the Team Event though is what made me become a fan of him. He was the first skater I became a fan of. I will never forget that day. Well I saw it on NBC on TV, but still. The way he skated, took my breath away. Made me so drawn in at perfection. Man. And that my friends was the beginning of me being a fan of figure skating and of some skaters.

I thought he lands 4S in practice. What is his 4S success rate in practice?

You and I became fans of Yuzuru Hanyu in exactly the same circumstances! I was not a figure skating fan until I saw Yuzuru in the team competition. You saw it on NBC and I saw it on CBC. I was completely taken by the ease and smoothness of his performance.

And they included a picture of him holding it in the background too. I want the winking one
Well if you have the means of getting the video and know how to put the subs in by all means do! I don't know anything about the technical art of subbing ^^
