Apparently a woman who met him at Finlandia 2012 said he must be at least 1m75 (she took a photo with him) as she's 1m63.

Anyways, here is Yuzuru's first SP in the senior circle, NHK 2010. He has been around for so long but since he's still young people tend to forget that fact. http://youtu.be/h7E6mdND1dc

This was when he's just 15. Omg look at that opening 3A!!! I have never seen anyone with such a beautiful 3A at such a young age. And his second 3A at Junior World was HUGE as well. This boy was born to jump the Axel. Recently young skaters start doing difficult jumps very early but the quality, the quality is no where near this!!

Unfortunately the video has been mute due to license?? I hope someone will help me with version that have sound.

I don't think so. Yuzuru is smaller than both Javier and Johnny who are 1m75 tall (saw it in instagram from FOI this summer).
My guess is that he's 1m71 or 1m72. Lot of people can stop growing up past 15. That's what happened to me, anyway.

I thought boys usually stop growing later than girls in general ?

I also think that although yuzuru looks slender and slight, he seems to be somewhere near Javier in terms of height... from What I see in the 2014worlds small medal ceremony

I understand why it's still unclear. The thing is that 2-3 cm can be a bit hard to see. I'm 1m78 and one of my friends is 1m75, but sometimes for other people it's hard to see the difference.:think:

Ah well, who knows? Maybe he's still smaller or maybe he's the same height. I still believe he's a bit smaller. But hopefully some pics at World 2015 will help... if everything goes well for Yuzu until then.

You guys are going to berate me... i booked my tickets to Shanghai/Hong Kong for fun and forgot to take into account Worlds and ended up booking the trip one week earlier >.<

Last time I was finally on the same continent as Yuzu (he was in Barcelona and me Istanbul)
and now I'll finally be in the same country but at different times

Oh crap... yes, good question: can't you change the dates? It should be possible, but it depends on how you booked your trip.

Yes, when we look at old pics/video, his teeth were different. He might have gotten "invisible" braces. I forgot the name, but a friend of mine had those once and you couldn't know she had them unless she told you. One of the differences was that those were placed behind the teeth, not on the front.
