Can we please stop with the conspiracies? Honestly, it's exaggerated. There's no way the JSF will ditch Yuzuru. Goodness, he's the most exciting skater they will ever get (no offense to the JSF). Shoma and Sota are still young, and still inconsistent. Obviously the JSF will be keeping their eyes on those two but no way will they be replacing Yuzuru anytime soon (and maybe not ever until Yuzuru retires). And let's not doubt Yuzuru now. Don't forget he hates to lose. You better believe he'll work hard to not lose after this, and I don't think the JSF will ditch a skater with that kind of motivation.

I admit, I AM a bit sad that Yuzuru didn't reclaim the world title, but it was fair that he got 2nd. It's kind of hard to have it sink in though. At least he medaled. And it's great to see he's back at it though he had so many problems this season.
I am sure he will be back stronger with so much motivation after this result. He said he is not a generous person and Javier said the winning maybe won't happen again in the interview after FP. He knows Yuzuru's ambition of winning. I am optimistic about our great fighter.

Just finished watching all the performances. So incredibly happy for Javier!! It's always nice to see someone be the first from their country to win something 
I'm also very happy for Yuzuru, and I hope he learns to care less about placement in the end. I know he's really competitive and all, but people enjoy his skating because of his skill, not because of the medals he has. Overall, I enjoyed Worlds this time around, and I look forward to Boston 2016!

Same here. At the first time I was thinking that even if he fell on that 4S rather than poping he could have won (and it might not affect landing on 4T which I feel like his mind was a little bit distracted); and soon I realized that it would not be the way that he expected to reclaim the title. Sometimes you just have to bend your knees really hard to jump higher. It's just end of the day, not end of the world. He has more subjects to work on, which is good, because he will become stronger.
The only thing for now bothers me is that Japan loses 3 spots and of course, all pressure will go to our boy.
To be fair I was expecting that a bit, because he could jump quads and other jumps in practice but he was struggling with air balance even on 3A. He was simply not prepared for this event in terms of training, so it is great achievement what he actually did, and that after first quads he got himself together and nailed everything else

Forget about the talk about JSF, I don't believe in their "trust" in Yuzuru at all but that I could not do anything about it. I'm not optimistic about his summer at all, I am afraid in the end he will get tons of ice shows. But let's hope that I am wrong.
Now, which makes me worried is about Yuzuru's air position in his jumps, he's leaning forwards in both SP and LP in landing. Even though he's off axis, he landed those jumps with his sheer will. I wonder was that because of 3 month coachless? Or the muscles in his abdomen haven't fully healed? I remember landing posture has something to do with abdominal muscles.
I remember when Yuna left Orser, at WC 2011 her posture also got worse (please Yuna's fans don't kill me, I have nothing against her, just notice her posture into the jumps by that particular time, in WC she's perfect). So maybe the reason was because Orser was not there to help Yuna (and this year, Yuzuru) to fix the air position/posture in jumps?
Definitely the result of being coachless for so long, in this case it's my opinion. Maybe because of all those factors: health, muscles lost, coachless for 3 months, stamina problem, asthma injuries, not enough preparation?

He was off ice basically for two months, so he simply lost a bit of feel that you have when you do/train something instantly for long time. You need time to get it back. Once he will get to normal training he will be ok. As ORser said, he needs few more weeks.
And I guess he lost some strength too, because he didn't had height on quad that he usually has

I know you don't have bad intent but I wish you'll have a little more trust in Yuzu and stop with all this conspiracy regarding the japanese federation.It almost sounds like you're afraid he's gonna be beaten by Shoma or any other young skater.Sure they're good skaters and are only now starting to get results but it's gonna take a long time till they will reach his current level,and by the time they do that Yuzu will already be 2 steps ahead of them
And you can't really compare scoring at different competions,some judges are more 'generous' than others you can only compare them when they're competing at the same one and I don't think it was any problem with their scores
You also aren't a prophet to know what will happen in the future,how JFS will treat him.It's kinda silly to worry about this things before they even happen.And with how JFS treated Yuzu this last few months I doubt it will ever happen.There was a huge public backlash after CoC and I think they've learned their lesson.Yuzu is just too big right now

Just like Kurt said in his comment about the SP, Yuzu just claims moments and 'commands us' to stand up for him at the end. Yesterday it was with the clenched fist in his ending pose, today it was with this final gesture of ripping off the mask and showing who he really is underneath it: painfully human but never giving up!
His roar reminded me of the same one in Nice: Worlds are often such an emotional journey for him. I feel just as exhausted to have lived it with him throughout this program.
Yuzuru himself could not be happy if he wins after his skating because he is a fair sportsman and he knows Javier deserves to win. But after a scary collision, a surgery, a sprained ankle, and very few time for proper training, silver is as important as a gold to me. I am sure he will be back in the next season with so much motivation because of his result.
Be carefull Yuzuru with your health and I am sure wou will win gold soon! Your health is the most important to all your fans ! I am watching you because of the passion that you put in all your programmes. the skating skills and your motivation to win. The medals are results of these.

Well, a healthy Yuzuru = no one can do anything to him. That's my take. And even an unhealthy Yuzuru can still claim silver at WC. That's amazing. BUT....
I don't want to think that JSF will find someway to score him less and other higher as they are running out of favor for him. But his lost levels at Nationals made me wonder. I hope it was just coincidence.
And I don't want to think that Yuzuru has to tire himself out for ice shows and events which affects his training just because he fells obligated to "pay back" for the fed. However, that already happened this summer.
I don't want to believe in those thoughts, but that is what I am afraid of as Yuzuru is stubborn and sometimes the organization don't like stubborn people.
But that's another story for another year... So to be honest I am glad Yuzuru intends to retire after 2018 because his health might not be in his favor, and maybe his federation as well. Which I dreadful hope that will bot be true.
Now back to reality, no assumption, will he attend World Team Trophy? I wonder if his health is in good condition for that? World Team trophy is fun but it's tiring for most skaters. I only hope that if he decides to go, then that means he is healthy. And maybe we will se some clean performances from him.

Is kind of tiring this devilization of JSF. For all Yuzuru tells they have been suporting and protecting of him. And I do believe that is Yuzuru the one that loves doing shows. He probably will learn a leasson about taking care of his health and down the number but who knows...
About Team Worlds is too early to know if he will participate, but based on the Taka´s showing at worlds, there is more preassure on Yuzuru to participate. Maybe Shoma will be the second men in the team.
