Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Is there any threads for the Worlds 2016 or people to contact for tickets? I really want to go and watch Yuzuru(and others) live since it's in the US next year.

As far as I know, there's no thread yet. And the tickets for individual events have not been released yet, only the ones for all the events. You can get those on the official Worlds 2016 website.

Same here. Though I can't buy tickets until I know the schedule.

Me, too!
I also hope Yuzuru will come to Skate America this year, or at least Skate Canada. Although we still don't know in which city Skate America will be. Will it be in Boston?

Skate America? I have NO clue. I'm anxious as you are to find out the location. I hope he does Skate America.

Ah, those were really annoying questions that the interviewer asked... It was clear that she wanted a particular (type of) answer, which never makes for an interesting interview...

I agree. Kudos for him for sticking around and smiling for the camera.

I can no longer predict anything that will go on in this kid's skating career after this season.:drama: Maybe it's a good thing that he kept on surprising me; it's keeping my life a lot more interesting.

Sorry for interrupting the topic that's going on now, but this is a clip of yuzu having an interview with cctv in English (i believe it's shared before), but it's a longer version, with some clips of him refusing interview initially (probably because he's practicing) and more questions being asked:

LOLS that he initially said he'll answer two questions only, but in the end, he had to answer a lot more questions! (and of course, some giving him headaches~ XD)

 He handled that situation really well, especially since it was in English. It was quite inappropriate of the interviewer to keep pressing that issue.

Same here. I want him to go to either SA or SC. However, with Patrick comes back to SC next season while Javi has the first priority to choose, it is quite unpredictable. BTW, is NHK a must-go for him? I would rather see him in TEB or COR instead if possible coz NHK is so close to the final in terms of dates.

It's not a must in terms that he is forced to compete there. But it's better for him since he skates at home and for JSF too since they have someone that will boost ticket sales. But who knows, he already won NHK once so he might as well try his hand at other competitions. I'm inclined to think that, if he competes in America, it will be SA and not SC, since Javi likes competing in Canada and he's choosing first.

What a nice idea to knitt a hat with Pooh design to give to Yuzuru. I am sure he will appreciate it very much if he receive one from a fan. Very thoughtful of you, very useful for him during the cold winter in Canada. I think you can throw it on the ice when you will go to see him at a competition like Skate America or at World in Boston in 2016. If you want to send it to him, maybe you can send it to the address of Japan Skating Federation in Japan, or to the Cricket Curling Club in Toronto, Canada where he will be going for training. I have a japanese friend who said to me that she did give him a gift when she saw him after the competition, that was a scaf and winter gloves. She said that she was very happy when she saw photos of him wearing those scaf and gloves during the winter in Canada. Did you see the video of Gala practice in Shanghai where Yuzu is playing around with Jason and his green hat? Good luck.

Yes I saw that video and I SQUEALED cause Jason and Yuzuru are 2 of my 3 #1 favorite skaters!

I'll try to find an address to mail it to. I'll have to wait to be able to buy more of the yellow yarn I need cause I ran out of it and I need to order it (Most of the yarn I buy comes from an online knitting store that has VERY good prices).

I want to make a hat cause it'll be something that he'll be more likely to keep unlike a stuffed animal.

My fingers are crossed for Skate Canada! I already have a ticket and would love to see him live again.

And as I just bought tickets for Boston, I'm psyched that I might get to see Yuzu twice next season.
