I haven't posted in a while since summer started in the past few weeks, but now that Yuzu revealed his new FS music and costume ... I have to comment about it!! 
When the photos of the costumes were revealed, my reaction was literally
and just as Shae-Lynn said, Yuzuru really is an alien (in an interesting and good way)! The first time I saw the "Seimei" costume, other than it taking direct reference from the traditional Japanese wear, the entire design reminds me of Vocaloid characters' clothes (especially Miku append for some reason). 
The music is slowly growing on me too, so I'm looking forward to how he performs the "Seimei" program in competition! In the upcoming season, for sure no one will choose the same music as him (because there was a POTO overload last season). Since everyone in the forum seems to really like his costume, what part of it is most appealing to you?

I like the costume's apparent simplicity. I do like Yuzu in frills and bling also but this costume has some clean lines and good color coordination. But it's not too simple. As you look at the costume, you can see more and more detail. The swirls in the brocade on the top, the inner sleeves, the star (for magic) on his back. So, all-in-all it makes a good impression on me.
Yuzuru looks like the protagonist in the anime series, "Shonen Onmyoji" (The Youthful Spirit Master). His costume appears to be based on the one worn by the young anime character.

Haven't posted for a long time but I just can't take this anymore - being the lucky one to watch the show there, I've been DEAD (yea, still) for his new program. He and his team are both wise to choose this lovely piece of music showing affection to his root and somewhat another level of artistry. The Ina Bauer was gorgeous as usual technically but a lot more sophistication in terms of interpretation of choreo. Footwork was magnificent too. Not sure how the arrangement will be adjusted, but I like the pitching of 4T. It seems Yuzu really knows himself very well, this might be the defining program of his career. Nonetheless, Shae Lynn surprised me by handing this very oriental program. She got Yuzu's edge and making it easy for foreign fans' appreciation. Applause to Shae Lynn.
The elegant Yuzu wowed the audiences with his glittery silver/white-embroidered costume and the special music choice. All of you might hear the boiling crowd later when the full version will be broadcast soon or later LMAO
The costume shone and it totally killed!!!! Yep, shinny little rhinestones are still on, okay, in a nice way (i think)
No worries to his falls for the 2 quads, he needs some time to get used to the music - it looked like he was not so sure at the moment he took off, he just missed the moment. Last but not least, the rink was small, he accommodated it quite a bit that he also slowed down sometimes when getting close to the end of rink.
Can't wait to see the whole polished program. His growth is huge and swift...... like a rocket indeed. I am so proud of him and excited to see how much he can do in the future.
Thank you so much for your report. I also think this might be a defining programme in his career: so much maturity, control, power and elegance is showing through it from the bits and pieces I've seen. I'm hoping for a stellar and injury-free season that will allow him to fully express himself through this programme.
The costume is great: simple and yet refined and actually complex in the details. I think it reflects very well the whole style and 'spirit' of the programme. I do'nt know about further changings but I'm sure it won't be over the top. Maybe a costume of another, darker color would be nice. I would add a nice contrast.

I can't thank you enough for posting this!! I think I died of happiness when I read the part about the footwork (since it's been kind of uninspiring to me in all his LP's after RJ 1.0). Also, Yuzuru's music selection/costume/everything for this LP has really surpassed my expectations, which were quite high to begin with. Even just that short video clip of the beginning of the program looks incredible. Sosososososo ecstatic for this upcoming season! Let's see...Yuzuru continues to have a masterpiece SP + this LP seems AMAZING + Worlds is in Boston this time =

And translation of his interview gives totally diff
erent vibe, than those, which were posted here earlier. "I'm the only one, who is able..." doesn't sound like Yuzu at all.

Got all my squealing out of my system on my way home and just caught up with everything and let me just say....Dreams. Do. Come. True :
The music is just gorgeous and so unique (I love the flute) Something no one has ever done before, probably the most unique program this season.
The costume is just amazing I love the long heian period sleeves but I know that it'll hinder him in competition, so I'm good with the shorter sleeves.
The colors and the bling are also perfect and very Yuzuru.
What I see of the footwork is great. This years Chopin?
And his music/concept reminds me of this (my anime geeky side is coming out)

Did he say the following? The following translation seems to be different from some of the other translation. The other translation posted a few pages back didn't mention that he fits traditional Japanese style the most. I'm not sure if it's the same interview.
"I want to expand my performing scale," Hanyu said in the post-show interview, "and I want to do something Japanese. I think among all amateur male skaters I am the one who fits traditional Japanese style the most, and I want to interpret the delicateness and strength, to pay more attention to body lines, in order to create a program that reflects my characteristics."

Yes EXCEPT, it was, 'Amongst all the currently competing Male Japanese skaters' 'Geneki Nihon danshi-senshu no naka de' --this is from the Mezamashi Doyoubi broadcast interview.

So some of the modifiers Yuzu used in his sentence were not carried over in the translation. --OR the author may have been listening to a completely different interview where he DID say it without the modifiers.
