There's also audience rating to consider. Besides, Yuzu loves to stay in Japan. Maybe he's actually super happy about taking NHK.
:agree: One thing I really don’t accept is that such a small venue. Besides, it’s slightly far from Tokyo, about 3 hours driving by car.

It is true some Japanese fans have been talking what it would be like if Yuzuru plays Onnagata. I laughed at his comment because it was as if he was listening to our talk
But I learned from his comment this time that he is well aware of his fans requests.
Joking aside, in any case, I was astonished again to know what a clever person he is. He knows very well about himself. About his characteristics, what to sell, what to improve, and what he should do as a skater, and how to spend his skater's life preparing for the next Olympics. He is very rational. And we all know he is a person of passion at the same time. Very complex, but very magnetic.
I want to see NHK, but I have already given up about the ticket. I'm rather the type of Gudetama (lazy egg), and no guts to join the ticket getting battle
This time, as Yuzuru and Mao will attend, surely it would be more severe than ever.
I burst into laughter when he said he is an “Onnagata” rather than a samurai.
and totally agree on you are mentioning about Yuzuru. As to the speaking of Gudetama (lazy egg), me as well lol. and isn’t it kinda funny that I often find something new related to Yuzuru (and other Japanese skaters) very first in this thread (forum).
As thankfully, I kind of depend on the abilities and efforts by overseas fans to help me as always.
I whole-heartedly agree with your assessment of Yuzuru that he knows himself very well, astonishing really because at his age, many people are just discovering themselves and what they want to do with their lives. I read a recent post in another forum where the poster opined that Yuzuru still doesn't know himself and thus his skating artistry is "inauthentic" though he may later develop his artistry. I thought then that it was the poster who doesn't know Yuzuru for if one has followed him closely and read his interviews and seen his progress, it's evident this is a person who has a high degree of self-awareness. And I think "SEIMEI" is proof of that and hopefully will cause the poster to see Yuzuru in a more favorable light.
I am definitely one of those who are surprised by his cleverness and self-awareness in every time I see his interview. I was like I almost forgotten he is just 20 years old. Imagining, if most of 20 y/o boys (people) were like him, that makes this world much better?!

will hopefully get a better ticket if ppl sell them later on...
Haha sorry, it's been a bummer not being able to see Kanako in the recent ice shows goofing around with the rest of Team Japan.

oh is Sota's fanboy that clear that commentators make the connection
For instance at last year's NHK, it seems Yuzuru's cute interaction was not with Kanako but with Domo-kun and the little girl who gave him the flower in his gala exhibition. I have high hopes though for cute interaction between Kanako and Shoma at TEB.
