Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Hey, I wouldn't mind if Yuzuru decided to dye his hair blond and play Tsubasa's Fai next.

Blonde Yuzuru sounds beautiful and amazing but hey, who could be Kurogane?

Inflate Javi by one foot and give him a sword, and he'd fit the bill because Kurogane is totally a softie inside! Or Brian Joubert who has that powerful warrior vibe. Plus Shoma as Shaoran, Satoko as Sakura and Shizuka Arakawa as Yuko and we've got a new themed ice show!

Recently I've been touched by how despite all the success Yuzuru has achieved, he still recalls the hardships of his hometown and contributes to the earthquake victims; here's to a brief representation of Hanyu and the country he represents, Japan. (posted a long-due fanart I've drawn)

What mediums do you use?

Most guys come across as too nice to be Seishiro, but I think Plushenko has enough innate attitude that he could pull off Seishiro's smirking predatory self-confidence. (Of course he'd need a makeover because Seishiro is supposed to be very handsome )
I don't think it's so strange that there are many CLAMP fans here. If any skater would appeal to a manga fan, it would naturally be Yuzuru. His person and skating represents what many manga fans go for: drama and romanticism, "delicactenss and strength", pretty boy-ishness... (Hey, I wouldn't mind if Yuzuru decided to dye his hair blond and play Tsubasa's Fai next.)

But Plushy is blond, he couldn't play the role of a dark Onmyoji from Japan.
Japan might go roar if Yuzuru dyed his hair blond to play Fai.

Oda-kun had a lecture (kind of like a talk/interview) in Kansai university today and there are some repo on twitter and they are so cute and nice and inspirational so I decided to translate some of them

Yuzu-related bits:

Oda is very close to Yuzu (no surprise at all!) and he has TONS of photos of them together but he can’t show to the public
On the bus, Yuzu would go over and ask if he can sit next to Nobu; so they always sit together
Nobu thought he himself talks a lot (…well he does) but it turns out Yuzu talks A LOT. LIKE A LOOOOOT (”羽生くんめちゃくちゃ、もうすっごいめっちゃくちゃよく喋るんですよ”)
They share many interests and preferences. e.g. Oda told Yuzu that his favourite anime is Ojamaru (おじゃ丸) and Yuzu told him “I like it too!”
They told each other their weight and Yuzu said “You are fatter than I expected”. Oda was quite shocked about it. (Sir you don’t have to be sad…look at who you are comparing to… orz)

Sharing this video link of Yuzuru's "Believe" program set to "Clair de Lune" posted by Mathman in another thread: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2uh0ep_y-h-believe-meets-debussy-clair-de-lune_sport. The uploader YzRIKO quite rightly saw how Yuzuru's skating there is like moonlight (literal meaning of the title of Debussy's composition), soft and light.

His elegance and softness in that EX is just I hope he uses it next season, since its a nice contrast to his LP.

I agree that his natural hair color looks best, if Yuzu had to dye his hair any color now, what would he choose I wonder? Also, remember one time in the past he temporarily had dark blue highlights? (that actually looked pretty cool on him)

Wikipedia says Human Informatics and Cognitive Sciences. Have no idea what Human Informatics is... and this mean he is getting two minors?

Most colleges require you to declare a Major in order to graduate, so I'm guessing his would be Cognitive Science? Then again, I'm not familiar with Japanese education/programs

Did this questions where answer? Sorry I´m really curious..

Maybe I missed it before or maybe it's the angle of the new video on SEIMEI, I love his ending pose! I didn't realize that he has a little "thump" with his left leg, and that his left hand and right hand one is up and one is down.

I think that any colored hair does’t suit him. he had better stay in black. but as you said, the dark blue highlights look good on him, not bad really

Thank you for the clarification and link. I knew that "Hana Wa Saku" was created specifically for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami, but had not realized that "Hana Ni Nare" was also a tribute.
