Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

 You know I was about to edit my previous post and add his :o: derrière as another part of his anatomy where there is visible fat, and now I fear you might want to pinch that too (as an admitted S) :p
No one will bail me out of police if I do that lol.

Anyways a Chinese fan has made a Seimei version with no fall. She uses several news clips of DOI Day 1 to replaces the parts of the falls. http://www.bilibili.com/video/av2470500/

So this is how the program will look like without falls, I have to say he still needs tons of work to do but it's June so no worry.

Thank you for this Meoima. The editing is superb!

That's exactly what she said. Her husband (her daughter's father) is japanese. I've knew her on line for years but we've lost contact. Our love for Yuzu's skating brought us together again.
PS: We're brazilians. My english is terrible. Sorry!

Really sweet ♥ welcome :)

This is a film shooting scene of "Ran" by KUROSAWA Akira.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TOw78GT-A4

17 years old NOMURA Mansai played a blind boy escaping from a castle in the battle.

Do you see any resemblance between Yuzuru and young Mansai? No doubt that they are both beautiful

Also, this is a drama "Hana no Ran" in which Mansai played a warlord "HOSOKAWA Katsumoto."
This is in Muromachi period, a bit later than Heian, but still you can see similar kimono.

Is there a possibility that Yuzuru would change, or give some change to his costume?

Nomura Mansai and Yuzuru are indeed beautiful people and I see the resemblance :D Thank you for sharing the links. I'm excited to see how the final costume will turn out.
p.s. I havent seen Ran in a long while so I might just do that, today :dance:Kurosawa's films are amazing. My personal favourite is Ikiru.

Bemvenido to our new posters from Brazil! :)

And speaking of South American fans, I am wondering if Yuzuru has any fans from Peru of Japanese descent...

It seems that the inclusion of Michael Martinez was a mistake as they re-uploaded a new video with him edited out just moments after. Lol....whoever made that video probably mistook him for Yuzuru . :slink:
On a side note, I bought my plane ticket+hotels for Boston

Awwww, would have wanted Michael with his cool cantilever to remain in that video. He is far from Yuzuru's level, but Michael is making history in his own right as an Olympic figure skater from a tropical country.  And hopefully there will be others following his footsteps as I read in a post in Michael's thread that there are plans to include figure skating and ice hockey in the Southeast Asian Games.

And congratulations on completing your arrangements for the upcoming Worlds!

Thank you for the links Suzy. Both Yuzuru and Mansai are beautiful and magnetic, but IMO Yuzuru is the "fairest of them all," and I freely admit that I am not unbiased here. ;)

Re Yuzuru's costume, I think the only changes will be to make it more "blingy" and striking.

On another matter, I was thinking that Yuzuru may not like to be in a large cast like the one in "Ran" as he said in an interview he liked that in figure skating the people's attention is focused on him skating alone in the rink (though I must say he does pretty well in the ice shows' group numbers).

Mine is "Rashomon," shown to my freshman English class by our professor as we were discussing the short story "in the Grove" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. It has influenced my way of seeing things and dealing with others.

Krika que bom nos encontramos de novo.. Obrigada a todos do fórum..

btw i realised something yesterday, if skate canada decides to broadcast offical practices at their DM channel like they did last year, we can see Yuzuru's practice as well! i hope they will !
Official practice of Yuzu and Patrick will be the beginning of blood bath:shocked:…

Yeah, in “Ikiru”, I never forget that scene where the hero was singing “Gondora-no-uta”(Gondola song).
I love most of Kurosawa’s works, but my best is “Shitinin-no-samurai” (“Seven Samurai”).

By the way, I found this video. Now he brings SEIMEI, so I’m not seeing high possibility that yuzu will do Japanesque performance any more, but the image will suit him.
Ilia Kulik - 1998 Olympics Gala - Mortal Combat.
Although what Kulik wore is rather “Dougi” for Japanese martial artist than “Hakama” for Samurai…

Mine is "Rashomon," shown to my freshman English class by our professor as we were discussing the short story by the same name by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. It has influenced my way of thinking and dealing with others.
I’m truly glad to hear you have profound experience with Ryunosuke Akutagawa. Hopefully, Japanese splendid intellectual inheritance will spread over more, although I know Japanese language makes for a barrier.

Amazing GIF again! Put a smile on my face; too bad FaOI in Kanazawa this coming weekend(i.e. Cricket Brothers Reunite!) will not be broadcast, but hopefully local news station, etc, will have some coverage.
So cute ! Very well done!

@Je De Souza, Portuguese is Greek to me (Sorry, I’m not good at foreign language..), so I read your comment with Google translation function (Would anyone translate it?). Thank you for your thoughtful comment!

Thank You everybody for the warm welcome!

boa noite

My eyes a bit grew wet to see wonderful blog. It’s very artistic and beautiful, and I feel true heart for yuzu. What’s more, layout is well constituted! It took you a considerable amount of time… Later I will have time to read more. Thank you for sharing:points:.
