I suggest some kind of fanauntie tribe ritual to cast out rumor demons  this here looks like perfectly appropriate ceremonial attire to do some spells. Are those prehistoric lightsabers?

OMG, that small head back there is Yuzuru's?!! Adorable kids :). I wonder what the story is behind the play?

At this point it is highly unlikely this movie will be shown outside of Japan. International fans will probably have to wait for the DVD release and a kind brave soul to upload a possibly subbed version (Chinese subs most likely). Many of the actors involved are well known and quite popular internationally however none to my knowledge have a fan base invested enough in English subbing the movies/dramas they specifically appear in. Unfortunately, the DVD itself will almost certainly not be subbed since Japan is notoriously strict about such things. And of course the DVD will be region 2 so...

I saw there was Eita in it and I know he had quite a lot of fans back in the day (i stopped following japanese movies/tv shows for a few years) so it's not impossible it'll get sub... unofficially :p

True.:agree2: Not only Eita, but Satoshi Tsumabuki, Yuko Takeuchi, Karen Iwata, Yudai Chiba, and Ryuhei Matsuda all have many international fans (well, I like Ryuhei Matsuda anyway:laugh:). IMO our greatest hope for Eng subs for this movie actually lie with AKB's Karen Iwata's fan base. However, it seems fans of female j-idols seem less likely to sub than fans of male j-idols/talent. But yes, subs will no doubt be unofficial.

Or Yuzuru Hanyu fans petition to the producer for an English sub, would it works?

I just heard about earthquake in Taiwan, I hope our Taiwanese friends are safe.

same  and somehow I think that someone somewhere is going to upload those parts with translations. The only question is how long it's going to stay online :roll9:

Thanks for the info. Is that live? Are they going to be there
?

No, it's just a sports show where they show back-stage moments and/or lip read what the athletes are saying to each other. It is prerecorded.
Oda will be there in person though.

This play was based on the short novel called 'Run, Melos!!' by Osamu Dazai (famous Japanese author). The story teaches you the importance of trust and friendship. Due to this educational theme, it has been used for Japanese textbooks for the school subjects such as National Language and Moral Studies.
Haha, I bet Yuzu really wanted to play the main character, Melos (the one in white and blue) instead of one of the bandits. Once he admitted that he likes being the centre of attention and always liked to play a main character in school plays!!! Ah well, he is now 'tono', so he should be very happy!!! Thank you for the explanation. I looked it up and found out that it's the short animation movie I watched on TV when I was a kid. It brings back lots of memories, thanks again.

Oh my gosh! Today marks 2 years since I became a fan of Yuzuru! TWO YEARS! And also 2 years since I technically joined the skating fandom!

May someone please translate this piece of interview with Yuzuru? I can't recall seeing it anywhere before. He talks about playing leading roles or smth along that here. :)
