Let's channel our energy to Yuzu instead.

Japan Nationals is coming in 10days :noshake:. I hope Yuzu get a good rest these few days to prepare for it.

Just to remind, this is not thread about Chan and there is no need to going too far about comments on what he says

Totally agree! No need to be negative towards other skaters here!

Yuzuru said several times in interviews how exhausted he is. He cried tears of relief at GPF - happiness was at NHK.

I hope he can just get through Japanese Nationals...then keep himself injury free through end of season. I'll be at Worlds, but my biggest hope for him now is that can rest and even "coast" now. Just seeing him skate will be a thrill.

Yuzu is the only one who can talk about his limits. And he will never say there's no room for improvement. All the rest is irrelevant. If Patrick thinks the kid can't be any better than this, he will have some surprises soon.
I appreciate Patrick as a skater, but I think for him it would be much more constructive to be motivated by Yuzu to push his limits instead of analyzing Yuzu's limits.

But back on topic...not much time before the nationals..I wanted a holiday for the kid

I'm worried about Yuzuru's energy levels, with Nationals in 10 days. GPF showed the kind of pressure he's putting himself under.

Sigh. I'll be holding my breath all the way until Worlds is over.

I don't expect him to skate that good at Nationals. I think he will be too tired to do his programs cleanly again

Hopefully after Nationals, he'll take some time off with his family, even if it's just for a few days. That can be enough to "recharge the batteries" lol! :agree: We won't know how much time he has actually for resting and training after Nationals, because JFS will have to announced who goes to 4CC and World, and it's almost never the same team. I suspect Shoma and Daisuke will go, and maybe even Sota (though I'd prefer the kid to rest to prepare for Junior World). But I'm not sure for Yuzuru.
Moreover, doesn't he have an event in Japan planned in January? With Mao and Shizuka?

I just want him to do as well as he can considering he does looked a bit tired at times at the GPF. He doesn't need to be as perfect to win. But he'll have a couple weeks after Nationals to rest and then (I guess) back to training.

His schedule as of now:

Japan National Dec 24-27
NHK Special Exhibition Jan 9
Worlds Mar 28- Apr 3

4CC Feb 16-21, not sure

thank you so much Alia ! I almost fainted when my preferred Etude transition suddendly appeared in Seimei !! :thank:

and thanks everyone for reports, translations, pics, clips, I have to say my heart is really exhausted because of too many incredible emotions

I think Yuzu's sweet tears in K&C perfectly summarize this memorable week end, one of the most memorable ever for sure!

CBC showed both men and ladies. Men are first. It's on all day, different time zones, so you can catch it many times... I have seen it all 2x already, lol.
