It's a single camera angle the whole time. But I LOOOVE the performance. You can see how much he has improved when you compare this FTT with the one he performed last year.

that means we would see he skates to some JAZZ number for his EX in the near future? if so, it will be great to watch!! :hap85:

There's all kinds of jazz, but I don't like it much either. Hopefully, it's a not-so-annoying jazz piece. Not elevator music, not too complicated, ...not Jazz.

In general I dislike Jazz as a whole as well, although there is some that I like very much. At the moment I'm hard pressed to name any, though!!

Jazz can be anything from really good to horribly awful. But so can pretty much any form of music/art. I do like some swing and big band stuff. Still, somehow I have a weird feeling about this.

At this point it is highly unlikely this movie will be shown outside of Japan. International fans will probably have to wait for the DVD release and a kind brave soul to upload a possibly subbed version (Chinese subs most likely). Many of the actors involved are well known and quite popular internationally however none to my knowledge have a fan base invested enough in English subbing the movies/dramas they specifically appear in. Unfortunately, the DVD itself will almost certainly not be subbed since Japan is notoriously strict about such things. And of course the DVD will be region 2 so...

I'm two days late on this but I just wanted to say that this is all so true! Most international fans probably won't get to see anything until when? ... Maybe October. Eita, Matsuda Ryuhei and a bunch of others are big names in the international fan communities but even their movies can go unsubbed. Unrelated but I just like to rant... the most frustrating thing for me is that often Japanese movies DO have English subs because they've been shown on international flights or at film festivals but they still aren't included in the release. The good news is if anyone wants to buy it Japanese BDs do play in American BD players. I do think Yuzuru's clips will end up online fairly quickly (such dedicated fans...) but still not til much, much later in the year. For some reason I'm really excited about this! I like so many of the actors in this movie.

Anyway, while I was trying to ignore the completely insane offers, I saw something else. Either someone got creative when they tried to translate the title - or I have to question what kind of DVD they are selling here :roll9:

I must admit though that the original title ("Time of Awakening") to me was reminiscent of that of the vintage Mills & Boon romances that were my guilty pleasure during high school. :

And Happy Chinese New Year to all those celebrating this occasion! It is officially called that btw in my country where it is a holiday.
