The Valentines tradition in Japan is that females give chocolate (or other presents) to males; so he was saying that as far as he can remember, he always gets chocolates from his mom and sister. Then he mentioned now he gets all kinds of presents from fans and he hopes his performances can be a form of returning the favours.

Ghana chocolates are so smart to use Yuzu to increase their sales during Japanese valentines.

Note in Ghana chocolate presents from girls to their boyfriends. "You are my Yuzu, that's why I gave you these Ghana chocolates."

Hello, I hope you don't mind me joining so late into the party. I'm trying hard to skim through the 2000-plus pages you have come up with, but am realising now I might never catch up with you. Hope you let me in into the God Yuzuru shrine with that shortcoming. :)

You are not too late, though you have only 2 years left of Yuzu's competitive fandom.

Steve Harvey should have helped him lol. Well if you've seen "Family Feud" you see that sometimes he sort of fixes ties.....

Steve Harvey? Please.. no.

"The gold medallist for Olympics 2018 men's singles is Mao Asada!"

Mao Asada looks perplexed.

"Sorry I take full responsibility for my mistake. Mao Asada is not the gold medallist for men's singles. Here is the card. The gold medallist is Yuzuru Hanyu!"

I'm not referring to the incident as Steve Harvey is a great host for Family Feud.

Cartoon Superheroes argue about who they would take to Tokyo Disney Land, Nishikori Kei or Yuzu!

Something along the lines of:
Female Hero: Nishikori is best because he's manly and will be like an escort.

Male Hero: But Nishikori wouldn't go souvenir shopping...he'd be like 'I'll wait outside'

FH: You can't know that!

MH: I can! Hanyu seems like he'd look at stuff with me. No, he would! And It would be great to ride the rides with him.
Nishikori would get bored in the line and make me nervous.

FH: No he wouldn't, he has practice with long tennis matches, he has good concentration.

MH: No, he doesn't have interests outside tennis. Hanyu likes Pooh-san.

FH: Nishikori would give a kiss when in the dark attractions (rides where everything goes dark for a bit).

MH: What, no fair...then Hanyu would too...well, Hanyu wouldn't. He wouldn't.

FH:That's right. He wouldn't.

MH: It's so difficult!

Nishikori-kun, Hanyu-kun, I can't choooose.

Shizuka is so beautiful, but that CM is . I'm praying every time there is a new Yuzu CM :hopelessness:

More Yuzu's Ghana valentine photos

Yuzuru likes white chocolate.

Below is translation by Ayako Nakamura from YHIFG FB of this article on the Ghana video:

Yuzuru Hanyu – The First Time Ever? SP 120?

A very special Valentine Day’s Chocolate was presented to Yuzuru Hanyu.

Yuzuru Hanyu (Figure Skater) participated in LOTTE’s Ghana Chocolate Valentine’s Day Event. He was given a special, skating rink themed, Valentine’s Day chocolate cake.

Photograph: Yuzuru Hanyu strikes the same pose as the Yuzuru doll on the cake.

Yuzuru was very happy to see the cake and said: Wow! This is just wow! He then, approached the cake and looked at it from all angles.

When asked to give the cake a score, he laughed and said: “120! This is a score nobody has ever achieved in the SP so far.”

Regarding the figurine of himself made from sugar he said: “The costume has been made correctly (detail wise) and I’m standing there on a rink made from white chocolate alone, which is similar to when I’m in a competition.”

Asked about his oldest Valentine’s Day memory he said: “My mother and sister have been giving me chocolate ever since I can remember.”
My sister isn’t that much older than me so what they gave me were simple things, but they tasted good and I have some pleasant memories of Valentine’s Day.

Yuzuru expressed his feelings of gratitude saying: Lately, we haven’t been doing this, but I receive a lot of Valentine’s Day gifts via my Present Box now. Whatever way it’s conveyed, I am always very happy to know that you care for me.

I would like to return everyone’s sentiments by performing well and getting good results, because you are all cheering me on.

I’ve found lots of obstacles I need to overcome this season. I am doing my best to grow a lot as a skater. I hope you will keep cheering me on. I will do my best to cheer you all on (in whatever you are doing in your life) by performing well!

Thanks to all for explaining japanese Valentines Day tradition !
As far as I know in Germany on Valentines Day only lovers exchange presents, mainly flowers or sweets. To get a chocolate cake from a sponsor ( Lotte ) is new to me but really good marketing. SP 120....thats a mark he is setting for himself ?
Japan nationals cm Hanyu eating Ghana chocolate and doing a 4 Lo ... maybe I should try with my 2 Lo...you shouldn't eat too much sugar during training, I know.
For Farnaz: My Flip is weird again, I cant keep this hip forward-stance all the time, grrrr.
