He has skating skills now to pull off anything, so I have if it's jazz it's gonna be Bourne choreographing. Propably it's gonna be SP. And Buttle for LP

The doctor of the article says, about reoccurrence after recovery, it can be prevented by the way of training or so. For example, he may have any habit burdens the instep area. If so, he can modify the habit or heighten the flexibility/stability of joint and reduce the burden of impact-absorb-function of foot.

I'd love it, so much! You may draw at venue or hotel during trip!:agree:

What a great idea! ;) I hope my goal to watch a live competition does come true next season!

Wishing Yuzuru a fast and safe recovery this summer! Hopefully he won't have to do too many ice shows and press events when he goes back to Japan. Even though it's safe to say that we all want to see more of him during off-season, I find that him being in ninja-mode better than him having too many appearances at once.

Also back to the topic of costumes, my top 3 favourite costumes from him are:

Sport is always an injury, unfortunately, so only the strong spirit of the people committed to high performance sport. In my unprofessional opinion, he needs some new emotions, not related to sports ... he needs a little bit to let himself look and see - even apart from sports have a life.
Maybe he should just stop and understand that he doesn't prove anything to anyone, including himself...he is the best and the whole world knows about it...He is just a man, although many people, including me, believe that he is from another planet)))

Hi Everyone, dropped by to share my recording of Requiem. Have got banned so many times for linking :palmf: so i'll just drop the id here: 1jacT7ONZOc (youtube). This performance was so beautiful so it was first priority from my camera. The competition is one thing, but a performance can have the power to live on beyond that. It was a bit of solace.

Full link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jacT7ONZOc
Thank you so much! It was a powerful performance indeed. Also- his performance won the biggest percentage of votes from the fans- more than 12% https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CfJv7HVUkAEprlI.jpg:large

At Worlds he had : 2012-bronze, 2013- 4 th place after a sensational FP, 2014-gold, 2015-silver, 2016-silver, and he has only 21 years old. It is the best skater, no doubt! The first to had over 100 at SP, over 200 at FP, over 300 in total, the youngest Olympic Champion after Dick Button in 1948, and so on.
I am glad he was happy at Gala:

Congratulation Yuzuru for every moment of joy that you gave to us !

I truly love the gala Requiem, here I slowed it down to 60% https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=997xYuXK6sI

He's truly floating, from 3:08 to when he looked up so gorgeous

"It is necessary to look at those eyes ... His eyes ... As he folded his arms. This mental picture. Looking at this picture, really want to hug him and support. Got upset. Clean the inside man. This is his fascination he aroused sympathy in people. No wonder it yesterday threw all the toys on the rink, that nobody so much were not thrown at the World Cup." - russian fans comments...

Alex: Yuzuru, you're feeling lonely?? I'll fix that
So so cute. Alex is such a great older brother for Yuzu. Let them both(+Maia) win gold next time!

BTW just saw this on twitter

Q:What do you want to do the most now?

Javi:Um..going to Japan

Yuzu and crowd: Oooooooo~~

Yuzu: With who? with who?

I think Yuzuru just teased Javi and Miki

Also this picture which shows Yuzuru is popular with the girls

I watched another video and it did seem like Yuzu was teasing Javier because after he said SOI, he admitted 'and with Miki'.

Do you remember this photo by David W. Carmichael
http://davecskatingphoto.com/photos/2015GPF/banquet/jsw_dave1503.jpg?

From David’s photobook of GPF2015 :http://davecskatingphoto.com/photos_2015_gpf_banquet.html

A Japanese blog introduced an interesting episode to get this photo. The girls who want to be taken with yuzu lined up. At first, he took the photo per girl, but it didn’t seem to end. Finally, Carmichael proposed yuzu to take a photo with all girls in a lump and he agreed with his eyes lilting up. Then, the photo above was taken! Carmichael saved yuzu from the endless photo session!

Carmichael was engaged with a hich-school teacher, so he can tell the mind of young people. He also said yuzu is so humble, but at the same time, he loves to attract all the attention and when he gets a spotlight, he shines more.

I love this pic of him presenting Mao on the ice. And his happy precious smile. It's very nice to see him having fun and great relationships with his fellow skaters.

ANA's ad praising Yuzuru for his accomplishments of this season.

OK, here's rough translation by me.

Thank you for the memorable season.

It has been almost 3 years since we first met.
Even when you are going through harsh time, every time we see you on board or at airport, you always hold your head high.
But the past year has been filled with hardship.
Your training continued late into the night at Sendai and Toronto.
You go onto the ice to train even on the next day of your victory at competition.
We believe that those days of efforts and struggle which is hard to imagine from your smile, led to your great accomplishments like these astounding world records, winning GPF for three years in a row and reigning as National Champion for four years, giving us inspiration and courage.
The third season for us supporting you has been a memorable one for us as well.
Thank you.
We shall join your fans in rooting for you on the international field.

Shared by Ingrid Ke @YHIFG FB: The full-page ad ANA bought in the Nikkei newspaper this morning to express gratitude to Yuzu cost them around 20 million Japanese yen!

@Yuzuland tumblr: It reminds me when they first had the contract with Yuzu when he was 18…“Give wings to the boy who dreams to be an Olympics champion”

Inspiration of Japan.....thank you ANA for supporting Yuzu.

I guess this was aired after EX. Most of the footage I have seen somewhere, but anyway I post it here.

He talks about the different quality of nervousness. He says it was maybe the kind of nervousness which is to go beyond what has already being perfect.

TV clip of the Gala and most of the TV clips are like this...fully in support of Yuzu.

https://twitter.com/seri_skate/status/717275606908416000. I guess this is a news about his health issue, I don't completely understand it, anything reliable?

I haven’t watched the TV clip alia posted above and don’t know the content, but this twitter says;

It seems the yuzu’s current injury is “Lisfranc joint ligaments damage”
Specifically,
1.Accompanying (a lot of) swell
2.Difficult to differentiate it from sprain
3.One-month conservative therapy is necessary
4.It takes 2 or 3 months before he can compete

At present, not surgery. his current injury is identified as “lisfranc joint ligaments damage” like the above twitter says. Medical news: http://healthpress.jp/2016/04/-no.html
Anyway, he has some off-season time to recover. The best treatment shall be done.

----> Will update once we get more info on the injury

On another news....definitely going to be a jazz but unconfirmed whether ex or competition program

Miki Ando says in her blog about yuzu.
“I don’t have any worry about him. All I feel is he shall get stronger further. He is the skater who shows his frustration and has words, so he can settle his feeling suitably. I feel even fear about him after getting over this challenge.”
Sorry, it was not a blog! http://courrier.jp/news/archives/47672/
It has much to read, 3pages. she seems to tell about some skaters with her accurate view, I still have read only yuzu part. Enjoy!

Hello! I am from Russia! Our coach TAT said that Yuzu is the greatest skater of his time, the most talented of the talented, genius!!!

TAT also said that he went up to a whole new level after the Games in Sochi!

HI everyone. Back from Worlds...here is my first blog entry of a couple topics that I have in my head that I wanted to write about. I hope this isn't the end of Seimei.

https://sportymags.wordpress.com/2016/04/05/yuzuru-hanyu-is-the-last-of-seimei/

Instead I love for him to skate Seimei as gala exhibition with the original stsq forward and backward crossrolls....and with modified costumes as we need to see his hips

Hi,I'm Korean fan of yuzu. This is first time to post this thread, but I've lurked this thread since Sochi. My English is not good so hope your understanding. Figure skating is not so popular sports in Korea. But since yuna' s success, some promising young skaters and Pyeongchang olys, national focus degree about this sport is high.
And international relationship of Korea and Japan has not been good or peaceful about some political issues. (sigh)
There are general skating fans in my country, but I think almost of figure fans are die hard yuna fan and against strong federation skaters....except US, Canada. But definitely there are some fans of Russia/ Japan skaters.
Especially japan players are noticed more than other country's player maybe because of close distance or mao' s influence? or political issue... It's strange because there is no particular rivalry right now.
Anyway about yuzu's view
In Korea, main focus is still lady's skating, but after sochi, there are a lot of yuzu fans here. Also fan page has been made and been active. I think the amount of Korean fan are not that big, but they are very supportive and ready to welcome yuzu at 17 4cc and 18 olys in Korea.
And media reported many news about his success or failure.. or other tabloid /unclear/ accident/private issues.. not that big amount but still biased. Figure skating community on Korea internet has so many trolls...about yuzu as same as 2ch on Japan internet. I think it's ok that someone hate yuzu as a player. Taste is just personal.
But twisting his word and personality through fabrication is too much ( sorry this is off topic, I'm too stressed about
recent trouble with other skater who has also huge fan base in Korea.. sometimes it's hard to be his fan in my country about nationalism trolls..)
In conclusion, I think non fs Korean fan's public view about him is not that important. Pyeongchang olympic venue will be full of Japanese fans... It is more pressure to him, I think.. using Japanese program is not that smart choice for location and Korean preference, but if he want to do seimei or other Japanese program, I'm ok and eventually he is really typical Japanese type. (look at my nickname he he) I respect his choice whatever.
Sorry for this rambling post but I really like his presence and unique style on ice, after sochi he really grow up to every aspects. It's pleasure to follow someone's dreaming but at the same times it's hard to see his hardship or failure.. nevertheless he is already huge achiever.
And finally I want to appreciate to this thread posters to update about yuzu.

Thank you for your explanation👍👍👍

Proverbly, the same as the previous years... :handw:
My boss told me: "you haven't eaten anything lately?" Then I came home and weighed myself, I have lost 3 kgs. And I eat a lot of cakes you know, yet it doesn't help. Image if I didn't eat cakes...
I think I should write a book named: "How to lose weight just by following Yuzuru Hanyu's career"

Hi Seimei, your English is good and thank you for giving us insights on figure skating environment in South Korea :agree:

welcome to forum and Yuzu's fan fest seimei! great to see he has fans from many countries (not surprising ) whether they are few or a lot! hope you will post more often!

and here is picture with Ivett

Thanks for kind words. but I still guess yuzu is quite popular other than players in Korea haha. While I 'm a fan of who is arguably the most competitive player, I hate tension and nervousness of competition... I feel this is some self -contradiction. So I used to skip this forum or fansite during his big event. But this season is over whatever result it is. you guys also make the efforts so rest too, same as yuzu. I think you guys may also disagree about it , but this season's the biggest present from yuzu to me is 'requiem of heaven and earth'. The most beautiful and sophisticated gala program I 've ever seen.. I bought the music CD, too. hehe. really to be artist.. yuzu boy. good job. Secretly, I confess to see requiem gala more times than his 2 back to back clean performance haha.

that program is wonderful, he is so invested in it and becomes one with it so no need to confess secretly, let the whole world hear you loud and clear!! (still dont like the costume though )

Hi there! Thanks for sharing this. It's really heart-warming to know Yuzu's Korean fans love him so much. And I love your username :agree: smart choice.

Anyway, regarding Yuzu's injury, if it's true then I'm praying for him. Hopefully he will rest well and recuperate.

I wish I could read Japanese. :) Oh God if what I've got from the news clip is true I have a very similar problem with instep Yuzu has. You have no idea how much it hurt at times. And if there was a lot of swelling then skating in those boots could be a real torture because swelling makes you foot bigger.
In the news clip Alia posted before, the doctor there said it requires surgery but nothing really complicated, so he can be back in his last year's peak time performance level in 6 month. He is the sports orthopedic doctor, so seems to be very familir with this injury. But he did not diagnose Yuzu of course, so do not know his injury level. How serious this problem would only be known after he takes proper diagnosis in Tronto. Still very surprised that Yuzu chose Tronto to check his injury.

Last time when he had surgery in Japan and stayed in Japan, there were big communication problem between JSF, YUzu and TCC which made us worry. So I think it is very good Yuzu stays in Tronto.

I already bought ticket through auction site to go to FAOI Makuhari(since I lost again in pre-order lottery and proper ticketing office sales sold out in 2 minites), so I would love to see him there, but I don't mind him not skating if he needs to rest. I hope this is nothing serious and Yuzu can rest well. Maybe someone has to hide his skating boots so he would not go on ice at least dare not to jump. :scratch2:
